TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Getting the same error. Deleting SavedVariables does not make it go away.

Hi there, I am wondering if your new work is being done for Wotlk or is it just on live servers?
I love this mod, and I cant imagine playing without it |

This error occured to me in Tanaris when TomTom tried to make a waypoint from a Tour Guide note (To the west (29,66)). It seems however, that it doesnt want to accept any waypoints at the moment.
Here's the pastey of the first error: Code:
[2008/08/19 13:52:41-55-x29]: TomTom-164\TomTom.lua:573: bad argument #1 to 'floor' (number expected, got nil) 2 TomTom-164\TomTom.lua:573: in function `tooltip_update' 3 TomTom-164\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:255: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:252> Code:

This is listed in the changelog and the comments. The old version was skewed pretty drastically and this was actually a fix rather than a change. Some have asked for an option to show the other version of the arrow and I plan to add that in at some point.

As you already know, 163 was kinda, bleh. Beta testing 164, however, and I notice two things. I did check to see if they were mentioned, but I only skimmed, I didn't look too hard.
1 - The arrow seems 'thinner', vertically. Not a big deal, I just noticed it was different, was kinda used to the fatty. 2 - When I actually 'get there', crazy arrow stays. It used to be, if I 'arrived' at a waypoint, the waypoint might still be there, but crazy arrow would go away. I use this with Quest Helper, and of course the waypoint might point to the middle of a spawning area, which I will roam around and kill stuff in. I used to go right to the exact spot to clear the crazyarrow, then roam around, without a crazy arrow on my screen, and as soon as I was done, I'd know I was done because crazy arrow would pop up pointing to QH's next task. Again, not a big deal, but I prefer the original behavior. It's easier than turn on, turn off, turn on, turn off, etc. 3 - Not a bug, but I still miss Cart's crazy arrow, coloring green/red/yellow based on distance instead of direction. I mentioned it a while ago. It'd still rock as an option, so some people could have it one way, some another. Low priority, of course, just wanted to toss it on the table, so to speak. ^_^

Heya Clad. On r164, I just encountered a bit of a minor issue. I was in Zangarmarsh, with a lot of waypoints plotted. I wanted to clear all waypoints, so I opened up the world map, right clicked a waypoint, and selected "Clear all waypoints". It brought up the confirm, which I clicked Yes to. At that point, my crazy arrow did not clear, nor did any of the waypoints actually go away. So I tried right clicking the crazy arrow and selecting "Clear all waypoints". Got the confirm again, clicked Yes, waypoints still didn't go away. Brought up the world map again. Now, hovering over a waypoint didn't show a tooltip, so I suspected it had actually been removed, but left the dot on the map. So I reloaded my UI, and sure enough, the waypoints were then gone. Pretty minor but not quite the expected behavior. Thanks!

Please read the comments before posting. NOTHING in Northrend or Eastern Plaguelands works right now. TomTom, however is extremely "stable" in the rest of the world.

//edit: could be a bug with wow and eu clients because I have heard the builtin map system in wow is yet unstable and bugged so for a few languages like frFR deDE I think.
caught this error me on WotLK, client frFR v8788 and TomTom r164 Code:
[2008/08/17 16:50:02-406-x1]: TomTom-SVN\TomTom.lua:573: bad argument #1 to 'floor' (number expected, got nil) TomTom-SVN\TomTom.lua:573: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom.lua:569> (tail call): ?: TomTom-SVN\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:286: in function <Interface\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom_Waypoints.lua:267> Also when setting up in Northrend waypoints using /way 52 39 for example I see the correct confirmation text in the chat window but the arrow is locked on me and shows 0yard always nor does not show up at all. Seem unstable for now here on wotlk

The r164 beta update solved the problems on my end too (I was unable to open the TomTom crazyarrow, it disappeared right after appearing).
