TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Hi there,
great addon! Say, is it possible to put some waypoint into a queue, so that you get a complete path of waypoints and the cool crazy arrow automaticly jumps on waypoint 2 when you reach waypoint 1? Would be really great to set mining or herbal paths in an area! |

I appreciate your well-explained "Addon Info", but it is not readily available when I want info about addon I already have downloaded (two days ago) and ready to test a bit. And searching for addon home page and waiting for it to open is way longer, than hitting F3 on README and just start reading. |

I also see no reason to post when there are conflicts with another addon, especially when that addon is doing the EXACT same thing as TomTom. If you download two addons that provide timestamps to your chat frames, you would expect them to conflict. This is no different. If you are using Cartographer_Waypoints and TomTom, of COURSE they will conflict.

I think it would be worth mentioning this bit in README.
(Also supply README with addon... I see it is common practice across all the WoW addons to NOT supply any documentation with them, but I would really appreciate some exceptions...) |

* The /way command will be handled by whichever of the addons loads last (you can use /tway to access the tomtom version) * The binding to add a note to the world map will conflict by default. You can change this binding in the TomTom options.

Rather then read through 800 comments. I am hoping me possibily repeating an already asked question wont offend anyone. Is this addon compatible with Cartographer?

Re: Way points
For anyone who is interested in doing this on their own, they can replace Astrolabe.lua in the libs/Astrolabe directory with the version from (http://svn.esamynn.org/astrolabe/bra...tlk_data_temp/).

Way points
I used "/way Borean Tundrea 79 28" and it said that it put the waypoint on the map, but when I look at the map I did not see a marker for it at all. Any idea what I did wrong?

I also have the issue with no floating arrow but the coordinates box is visible.
Unless I have quest helper installed then both arrows appear and I can then choose which one I prefer. |
