TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Message: ..\AddOns\TomTom\TomTom.lua line 221:
attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'x' (a nil value) Debug: [C]: ? TomTom\TomTom.lua:221: GetKeyArgs() TomTom\TomTom_POIIntegration.lua:178: TomTom\TomTom_POIIntegration.lua:142 This occurs when I ctrl-right click this quest: http://www.wowhead.com/quest=29155 from my objectives tracker, it doesn't happen when I use the map. I added print(questIndex) to POIIntegration.lua at line 170 to see what's going on, and it appears that it's always using the questIndex of the quest that is first on the objective tracker. |

If you're in Icecrown, don't specify a zone name and there's no problem. The reason its failing is because 'Icecrown' is not a unique match.. and the logic doesn't properly handle this case. Because both 'Icecrown' and 'Icecrown Citadel' match the zone you are specifying, it fails.
I haven't fixed this issue yet, you can just not specify the zone for now. I'll do my best to get it fixed soon.

The Icecrown issue is resolved in the latest version.

How did you update if you had already updated to TomTom?
In short, I'm very confused and not entirely sure how to help you and without some more information I'm not sure how I can even begin to debug things. Please do the following basic troubleshooting. 1. Remove all traces of TomTom from your WoW installation. 2. Log in, and verify that TomTom is not listed in your addon selection screen 3. Close WoW 4. Install the latest version of TomTom obtained from Wowinterface or Curse. 5. Log into, and verify that TomTom IS listed in your addon selection screen. Make sure its selected. 6. Log into a character. 7. Type /tomtom to open the options dialog and verify that its loaded properly. 8. Navigate to 'General Options' and slide the 'Clear waypoint distance' to 0. 9. Set a waypoint by control-right-clicking on the world map or (the easiest) by typing the /cway command. 10. See the arrow appear and function properly.

I visited the main page here at WoWInterface and saw there was a new version posted using a date that was newer than the one I had. So I downloaded it, unzipped it to my desktop, copied it and pasted it into my C:\ProgramFiles\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons folder. It asked if I wanted to overwrite and I checked yes. It did so. I will also tell you again that this only happens on my Worgen characters when I create them. Was I supposed to update a different way? I am sorry. If I am being stupid or not answering your questions correctly. I honestly didn't know there was a different way to update addons than the above. I thought I had given all the information I could. Without knowing what information you need, of course. I told you exactly what happened and what I did to try to resolve it. I really appreciate your help I don't write addons and I don't know coding. If you do not wish to help me that's fine.

No, that's fine, but in your post you mentioned updating in two different places and it wasn't entirely clear how (time-wise) things actually occurred. When I first read it, it sounded like you somehow updated twice, and that confused me.
As frustrating as it must be for you to try and troubleshoot a problem, it's doubly-so for me, because someone is having a problem with my addon and I can't reproduce it and therefore cannot fix it. So unfortunately, we're in the situation where I have to ask you for assistance in working through a problem. Thanks for your post, awaiting your response to my troubleshooting queries.

EDIT: Ok I tried it the first way ..control-right-clicking the map and it showed up. However, it still doesn't do anything beyond that. I mean it doesn't work with WoWPro. It only shows when I force a waypoint..if that makes sense. I cannot follow the points on WoWPro.

Is there a waypoint on your world map? On your minimap? Can you run /tomtom and go to Crazy Arrow options and click 'Reset arrow' to reset the arrow position? What zone are you in, specifically?
