    LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

    I HIGHLY suggest using this addon with TomTom, another one of my addons (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...32-TomTom.html ). This allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint.

    The following slash commands are valid:
    • /lh attach - Attaches the frame to the quest log
    • /lh detach - Detaches the frame, allows you to resize and move it
    • /lh sound - Toggles the open/close sound
    • /lh page - Toggles showing all comments on one page, or with multiple pages
    • /lh bgalpha <0.0-1.0> - Changes the alpha of the LH window background textures, so you can see the world.
    • /lh debug - Enables or disabled debug messages when loading quest databases
    • /lh config - Opens the LightHeaded configuration window
    • /lh autodetails - Toggle automatic opening of the Lightheaded window when clicking a quest in the objective tracker

    LightHeaded now includes the English descriptions and introductory text for most of the quests in the game. This is disabled by default, but can be enabled for those players that are not playing in their native locale.

    LightHeaded supports sending coordinates to TomTom, MapNotes, Cartographer2 and Cartographer3.

    IMPORTANT: Addon authors that wish to use this API and data should
    include the wowhead logo in the frame that displays this information.
    They are kind enough to let me continue parsing their database, and we
    owe them at least that much. Thank you.

    Been trying different variations, and no matter what...beta is the only one that has no lua errors (unless you try to attach/detach) lh commands, and menu options. unfortunately unless macro'd with a show modifier, you would never know it was working.

    in short...release does not work.

    TY Clad, for being so diligent!. Still no attach, and you need to create a /lh show macro (or use command line...whatevs)...any idea on when we might at least see an automatic attach? Is it possible? I don't know...lol

    If you're getting an error on that line you're not using the version that was released today. I suggest you try doing that and then let me know if there are issues.

    If I read the requirements right ... no go if ya have Windows XP? Anyone know if it does work and was omitted in error?

    Sorry this leads us off track ... LH is one of my favs when I have trouble with completing the less obvious quest solutions.

    Version: v60000-1.0.0-2014-10-26 Works. Now we just need some kind of attachement to questlog or auto open when clicking on a quest.

    That's the way Carbonite worked ... currently Rythal is working on version for new patch. Worth the wait IMO.

    Answering my own question here as an FYI to others.

    Yes, the 32bit version of Minion works in XP for me.

    Hmmm ... had LH working fine, but when I updated last round of updates it stopped showing up. I'll have a better chance to check it out tomorrow am ... till then RL is superceding my time.

    Other addons I have (in case someone knows of a conflict):

    Dugi (at least till Carbonite is back)
    bagnon
    bartender4
    atlas (again, till Carbonite returns)
    profession leveling guide

    And I did not try the commands /lh attach or /lh config yet.

    With the new quest log, LH does not appear automatically like it used to. If I type /lh show, it will appear behind the quest log. Is this working as intended or a bug?

    I am afraid so. I hope author will make it attach somehow or auto open when clicking a quest.
