    What does Personal Sentry do?

    Short answer:

    It creates a popup menu of Players/NPC's by using your combat log, mouse-over, and/or minimap. You can 'left-click' the buttons to target or 'right-click' to target AND announce their position to a specified channel.

    More detailed answer:

    By using 'Sentry Mode' you will get enemy player targets to appear on the popup automatically if they do anything near enough to you that your combat log reports it. Also, the popup does more than just allow you to target and announce things. It can keep track of targets over time and adjust the background color fade to let you know which is more recently active (darker is higher priority). It removes dead targets (optional) and adds new targets as they appear. It will also update targetted and moused-over targets health (shown by how filled the colored bar is). It can keep track of all damage taken from enemies and you can also add enemy player targets to your own 'Hit List', which will give you extra warning if they appear on your popup.

    Warlock pact is still not fixed, but I think it is the 1.09 version still.

    Even using your link, the ver of the file that is downloaded is 1.09. The Readme file is ver 1.09 as well as the in-game mouse-over of the mini-map icon.

    Is this ver 1.10, but the ver nam ehasn't been updated yet?

    That's bizzare. Maybe Wowinterface didn't set the permissions of my latest upload properly. Here's a link to the file on curse-gaming's site.

    This site is just buggy I guess. The one on curse should be downloadable shortly. It usually gives an hour or so delay before the file becomes available to the public.

    I signed out of this site and it erased my cookie. Then I came back to this page as a guest (no username) and could download v1.11 just fine. I signed back in and I can also download it fine.

    It might be a bad cookie on your end. I suggest you try what I did and see if it works for you.

    Hey, thanks for the mod, I love it and don't know how I'd live without it any longer.

    Couple questions:

    Can you make it so the mod isn't "always on top" ? It's real annoying to have it block out my bags or other UI elements all the time.

    and then finally, can you add 'All but Dungeons' maybe to the Addon Toggle tab? Where it would auto-disable the sentry within a dungeon?

    Thanks to both of you! You'll be happy to know that for the next release I've already set the popup so it won't cover bags/buttons on the interface. I'm sure there is a way to determine instances from normal zones... once I discover how to do that I can certainly add the option to disable it for instances.

    Great addon, Rexxa.

    Is it possible to have the popups only appear for PvP targets and not for NPCs? If not, is it possible to have the sound alert trigger only for PvP targets?

    If by PvP targets you mean Players, then yes. Just set the Tracking/Mouseover setting to "Players" and that will do it.

    Does this "Players" option also popup same-faction players? I'm on a PvP server and am only interested in being alerted to Horde players, since I'm part of the Alliance. I don't need to be alerted of Alliance players in the area, since they can't attack me.

    Set the option to 'Enemy Players' and that is all you will ever get on the popup =)
