Totemus is mod to help the Shaman manage the totems, buffs, potions, drink/food and messages.

It provides a variety of buttons for common spells in an easy-to-use, small, convinient package.

The idea was adapted from Venantes and Necrosis LdC to make it usable by shamans.

Totemus will provide you a sphere and 10 buttons. The sphere will display information and the outer buttons will provide quick access for several things.

Totemus is splitted into 3 mods.

Totemus - the main mod TotemusOptions - configuration dialog SphereLoader - loads Totemus only if the toon is a shaman

Sphere

* Left click/Right click to activate a configured action
* You can put the Totemus Sphere wherever you want
* Detach the buttons from the sphere and move them whereever you like.
* Show or remove any of the visible buttons
* Rotate the buttons around the sphere to fit your settings

Sphere Circle - selectable

* Nothing!
* Current Mana
* Current Health
* Current XP

Sphere Text - selectable

* Nothing!
* Current Mana
* Current Health
* Drink/Food Count

Buttons

* Air Menu
* Earth Menu
* Fire Menu
* Water Menu
* Weapon Buffs Menu
* 2 Action buttons
-- Left click/Right click to activate a configured action

* Mount Button
-- Right click to use hearthstone or Astral Recall

* Potion Button
-- Left click: Health Potion -- Right click: Mana Potion

* Drink/Food Button
-- Left click: Drink -- Right click: Food

Random chat messages

* available for Ancestral Spirit and mounting.
* configurable to a short, raid-ready version (disables ancestral spirit/mount messages)

Another weird bug I'm experiencing is this: Every time I log on, one of my custom buttons changes slightly. I have one of them set to War Stomp/Shamanistic Rage, but when I log in it becomes Heroism/Shamanistic Rage. It also just so happens that heroism and war stomp are right next to each other in the slider. Maybe that has something to do with it?

Weapon buffs for dual weilding

Could you add an option to add a second buff button for the off hand weapon. That would make changing buffs on the fly really easy. Or perhaps left click = main hand middle click = off hand.

Otherwise a nice mod.

You play on English, French or German client ?



I am using the English client. Setting any action button for Totemic Call shows a "?" for the icon. The spell itself still works (I can click the ? and it casts Totemic Call), it just doesn't have the proper graphic.

Totem timers currently borked. I'm getting nil value errors any time I try to enable them, and they aren't showing up anywhere.

Is there any way to rearrange the element alignment witht he timers?

For a Horizontal bar, it shows them in the order of: Air, Water, Fire, Earth. Is there a way (or planned) to change this to whatever we wish (ex. Fire, Earth, Air, Water)?


Also, the timers currently do not reset when you cast Totemic Call.


Otherwise, nice addition!


Edit: Nvm on the changing of element order; I see in the ToDo.txt file you already plan to do that. Resetting the timer with Totemic Call, however, would be a good addition.

Edit2: It also appears that even with the TotemusTimer unchecked (ie. off), the basic bar will always load when you log in. You have to check 'Show TotemusTimers' and then uncheck it to make it go away again. Seems the variable isn't being saved completely.

I still get nothing but errors when it come to the timers. Also, another bug/issue I've found is that the food/water button won't pick up anything but vendor bought food. My cooked food and fish are not showing up. Also, the random war stomp button changing thing is still happening- any idea why that may be occurring?

EDIT: I got the files from Curse Gaming and everything is working so far. However, cooked food still isn't showing up as food.

Nice mod!

The only problem I have is when moving the buttons, they seem to snap to some pretty strange positions on the screen. Such as, I can't center the main button on my screen, because it always seems to jump about 1/4" to the right.

Is this a known issue, or could this be due to another mod?

This mod needs a BC update. The buttons flip out whenever you learn new spells, the new PvP potions don't show up under the potion button, and the new cooked food doesn't show up under the food/drink icon. I love this mod, please fix it!

The only real bug I still have is that the TotemusTimers are not being saved in terms of having them turned off. Every time I load my UI (logging in or reloading the UI), the TotemusTimers display. I have to go into the menu, select 'Show TotemusTimers', then uncheck it to make them go away. More a hassle than a real problem.

I used MoveAnything to just hide the frame since it wouldn't behave.

One thing I'd love to see added to the circle-display (likely my being a noobiemushkins shaman) is the number of hits left in lightening shield. For such an oft-removed buff it's (to my mind) be a natural addion since you can click-recast directly from it.

This looks nice and all. The features I *really really* miss is to pick four totems (without casting them) AND keybinding.

Right now, if you left click a totem it gets put in the quick sphere and casted. Perhaps, if you right click instead it gets put in the quick sphere without beeing casted? Add to that keybindings to the four quick totem buttons and the addon feels complete to me.

Well that and perhaps an ankh cooldown in the center sphere.

Any changes not allowed in combat could perhaps be solved by putting them on "wait" and handelling them in a "left combat" event handler? About the changing totems mid fight, then changing the corresponding keybindings afterwards.

Still at it's present state, it beats CoE to me. Pretty neato.
For timers, DoTimers does the job handsomly Used it instead of Necrosis' timers as warlock.

Totemus does not work correctly for Tranquil Air totem. You can right click and cast it but it doesn't become the left click cast for the air totems. Since I'm full elemental and use Totem of Wrath, I get lumped with the casters (yay) who also want TqA.

Totemus doesn't recognise any TBC food yet, though it recognises some of the water.

I'm getting close to level 66, so I hope it works with the elemental totems.
