I have rewritten SHT from the ground up using the Ace2 framework. It's nice stuff. I've made it less of a mess and it should now track skills for all classes.

-Fixed Embeds, this should fix all the loading problems.

- A couple of minor bug fixes
- Added the ability to share skills. This has to first be enabled in the gui (under group skills) then you have to enable sharing of specific skills by going to their options and ticking share.

- When you disable a bar, all bars of that type die.
- Added the ability to set the default group for a skillset

Lots of big changes here, options have been completely reworked and skill detection for the most part has been completely reworked. Thew new API in 2.1 makes it so that I don't need huge files for every class detailing all their skills, rather the API provides all the information for whatever debuffs you've already tagged onto the mob.

Skills are now added to the options after you use them for the first time. /st config or click on the minimap icon/fubar icon to bring up the new config pane. Bars that you don't want can be quickly disabled by Alt+Clicking on them and selecting disable.

This version should also be compatable with just about every language, even its its not localized for every language. Please try it out and post any strangeness you encounter.

2.1 beta
This is for the 2.1 test server. Please test it for any issues that come up.
-BG timers have been removed
-New GUI for config using waterfall, click on the icon to bring it up.
-Buff tracking has been changed. They now must be manually enabled.
-Skill tracking has been changed. As you use skills it'll populate the options list.
-Bars have changed. Holding alt and right clicking on a bar will bring up a quick Kill/Disable menu.

First of all: great addon and awesome rewrite !

Nevertheless I have several questions / suggestions on how to improve this addon:

1. Is there a way to add a casting bar to the Timers? That would make it really nice for hunters to create a group for their shot cycles with all the bars together.

2. Is there a way to add cooldowns of abilities? Again this would be nice for Hunters and their Arcane Shot for the cycle.

3. Is there a way to increase the maximum width of the bars? I have it set at 200 and that looks rather small on my 1680 * 1050 widescreen monitor. I also compared that with a width of 200 of the "Enhanced Casting Bars" addon and they were different ... kinda confusing, but someone guessed one of the addons is using percent and not pixel als measurement.

4. Which names of colors are useable when defining that in the Bar Style?

5. I had something happening on one of my chars which I cant really explain: The Bars only appeared when I moused over the target. Which option is that?

Moving the Bars

You can unlock the groups through the menu. Go to Group Options and then uncheck Locked.

Is there a way to set the bars to show off to the side, or move them so they are not right in the middle of the screen, it is rather annoying as a Rogue who likes to backstab. Especially if your fighting a gnome.

I can't seem to get the bars to "grow Up" instead of down.

Checked and unchecked and rechecked the option, but it continues to grow down.

Anyone else know how to fix this ?

Victory Rush (warrior ability) has been upped to 20 seconds instead of 15 several patches ago.

Sorry I didn't report earlier it's an easy fix in warrior abilities lua and was doing it after every upgrade.
Maybe it's time it makes it in the official package?

I believe the reason for this is that the "Improved Starfire" talent was renamed to "Celestial Focus".
Try going into the abilities-druid.lua and changing all instances (I think there was only two) of the phrase Improved Starfire with the phrase Celestial Focus. It fixed all errors for my druid.

Please fix this for everyone, this error completely breaks the mod for druids *sadkittyface*

Great addon... particularly for my Hunter, but I'm using it now also for my Priest and have found an issue.

As best as I can tell, Blackout will only show if you have Shadow Vunerability enabled and, even then, it appears not to show once the Shadow Vunerability timer runs out. Also, Shadow Vunerability probably shouldn't even be on a timer because it stacks and refreshes itself (so normally the timer runs out despite the fact that I have Shadow Vunerability x5 on the MoB).

i got the same problem as stated in the previous post. apparently its these lines thats the problem, anyone got a solution?

so far i tried just deleting the 3 lines - i get no errors now, and haven't seen any complications yet. though i bet they do something

Newest version...

I'm using the newest version of Sorren's Timer's (gotta love the WowAce updater ^_^) but I keep getting this error:

[2007/04/15 12:38:28-285-x1]: SorrenTimers-0.1\Core.lua:1869: attempt to index field 'updateFrame' (a nil value)

I hate being lua ignorant, but....anyone have any ideas? *hopeful*

love this mod, its realy useful, but adding new skills to it is way over my head, i would realy like it if vampric touch and vampric embrace were supported, cheers

For those of you getting the
Interface\Addons\SorrenTimers\Core.lua:1800: attempt to index field 'BGTimers' (a nill value)
.. error, open up Core.lua, scroll to line 1800, you should see this:

self:SetCandyBarTexture(group.."testbar", surface:Fetch(self.db.char.groups.BGTimers.texture or self.db.char.texture));
Change this line to:
self:SetCandyBarTexture(group.."testbar", surface:Fetch(self.db.char.texture));
And it should work just fine.

Not sure where to post it since I cannot find your patch page here on WowInterface, but I have fixed the maim issue. I tested it for a bit last night and it works on misses, and the countdown works for 1-5 combo points. I have sent you a PM with the new lua file.

Yeah, there is a problem with the mod itself in using the test bar for sure. I really hope this mod isn't totally abandoned as I've loved it ever since I started using it, but having errors come up with some abilities is troubling. Even though I put time into working on druid timers, there are some things that just flat out don't work for me, such as Maim (which I removed from my own druid.lua file to lose that error) and I just don't know how to get it to work properly.

I hope things are ok with you, astraycat.
