What this mod does
This mod will allow you to automatically roll greed, need, pass, or if the setting is disabled, let you manually roll on loot based on customized loot rules.
By adding customized rules, you can do things like roll greed on all Bind on Equip items, except in Karazhan. You could also let it ignore all Bind on Pickup items, to let you manually roll on them.

r87 toc should be fixed
added the confirm DE filter.. be CAREFUL with that one.. Once it's DE'ed.. it's gone. I am considering moving this one in place of the BoP separate addon. |

AnrDaemon: Thanks for that awesome idea for confirmation box on adding Confirm DE (Not going to worry about BoP as you can still trade those)
willgk: You can add Zone Names to filters currently. The name must match the name in a /who. (case insensitive) xtoq: The filters are based on matching something, instead of not matching something. I thought about doing a system to allow for Not, And, Or, Xor and such, but it would be a huge undertaking. I figured that doing one of the following would be a LOT simpler: # Option A) include everything you want to match and not include what you don't Rule1: Greed on All but uncommon (check greed) Quality -> Rare Quality -> Epic Quality -> Legendary Quality -> Artifact # Option B) create a rule for places you do not want to include, have it not roll (don't check greed/pass/need/de), and just move it ahead of your other rules. Rule1: Uncommon ignore (no checkbox on greed/need/etc) Quality -> Uncommon Rule2: Everything else (check greed) Do not add any filters.. this will match everything. = Example 2 = If you want to not do anything in the zones Icecrown or Gundrak (for example) and roll Greed on everything else.. here is what you would do: Rule1: Ignore Zones (Do not select any checkboxes of greed/need/etc) Zone Name -> "Icecrown" (or whatever) Zone Name -> "Gundrak" Rule2: Everything else (select greed or whatever you wish) Do not add any filters.. this will match everything. If you want to add a rule to 'negate' items or something, just add a rule, and put it above the Greed rule, and add in item names or item levels, or whatever other filter you wish. Hope that helps.

So I had this ridiculously long post but I guess I was typing it while you were typing yours.
I guess that works, just seems really counterintuitive to me. Thanks though for the response!

Was editing my post for better clarity.. I am going to give some thought into a not system.. However the logic system might be quite complex and even more confusing to people.
Now you said you would like to roll greed/de on everything you don't wear, and let you manually choose things you do... There are a few ways to go about this... what about swapping your rules a bit.. Rule1) No check boxes Zone Name -> Pit of Saron Zone Name -> Forge of Souls Zone Name -> Halls of Reflection Item Type -> Armor -> Plate Item Type -> Weapon -> 1hd Sword Item Type -> Weapon -> 2hd Sword Item Type -> Weapon -> 1hd Mace Item Type -> Weapon -> 2hd Mace Rule2) Greed / DE check boxes No filters. (everything else) With a Not system for each item in a filter it would look like: (Zone1 OR Zone2 OR Zone3) AND (not Plate OR not 1hd Sword OR not 2hd sword OR not 1hd mace OR not 2hd mace) This would not work, as if you dropped a 1hd sword, it would not be plate, and would instantly match the rule. The only way I could do it would be to add a not to the entire filter rather than each item in the filter individually. (Zone1 OR Zone2 OR Zone3) AND not (Plate OR 1hd Sword OR 2hd Sword OR 1hd Mace OR 2hd Mace) That would be a bit better and would work.. However you would not be able to negate individual items in a filter, only the entire filter together. If you wanted to negate individual items in a filter you'd have to change the OR's to AND's .. but that would only work if every individual item is a negated option.. if you had mixed .. i dunno what to do.. like (not amor AND (staff OR axe)) .. ungh.. I dunno.. it's 1:40am atm, and I am not thinking clearly.. I'll sleep on it. |

No problem, I'll try your suggestions out as well tomorrow when we run the regulars and heroics for the hundredth time. Boy I love a new patch...
But regardless of the possible changes, I loooove this mod. Thanks so much for it.

Just curious... have you considered the "AtlasLoot wishlist" idea I suggested earlier?

Variables
I've been looking at the profiles and they would be come wonderfully generic if I could have access to a couple of variables in the dropdowns. One would be "MyArmorType" which you would set by class to match cloth/leather/mail/plate. That would let me define no roll aka decide for myleathertype and greed for the other three. I would build in an exception for cloaks on cloth to go above that, you dont have to.
Another would be required level of the gear vs my level, so I could set a generic greed for anything 10 levels below my character. With that, all these class specific sets could go generic, with a common wishlist, and a setup that said greed if its low or boe or not my class, need if it's my atlas wishlist, decide for the rest. How doable is it to set up a filter for "myarmortype' or level? |

Re: Variables
Having a setting for MyArmoryType / MyWeaponType would be extremely time consuming and difficult to code in. I did add a 'usable' filter. The way it works is it checks for red colored text in the tooltip to determine if you can 'use' it. Similar to how the auction house works if you check for usable items. If you wear mail, cloth and leather will show up as 'usable' as well.
For Required Level, I added the option for -1 being your current level. So type in -1 for required level, and it will match on your current level. |
