HealBot Continued   

I seem to be having a new problem with macros. If I have a macro in for a spell, it won't target the person I use the key combo for. Even a simple macro like:

/cast YourHealSpell

doesn't target the person and cast. I've confirmed even this simple macro works fine outside of Healbot.

Any ideas what might be wrong?

I had to do a comp format a day or so ago and i can not get my healbot working as i remember

2 things are incorrect

1) the players health value i can only get a % or a negative value when they lose health, where as i used to have there full HP on my bar and it went down in numbers as they lost health exp on bar it says 30000 they lose 4000 health in one hit so the bar next to there name would say 26000 i can no longer find this option

2) i am unable to get players out of healing range and not in combat to be faded out to tell me there are out of range, all settings i try either makes all members of part/raid fade all the time ( inc me ) or always full colour bar so i am unable to see if a players goes out of range

Ok. In the past, I've been able to focus target the raid tanks which puts them into their own group and made it a hell of a lot easier to stay orginized. I would have hick-ups every so often to where people wouldn't be set into the focus group. I would then simply dissable HealBot and re-enable it again and this would fix the problem 99% of the time. The only exception was our Pally tank named Qq and I figured it to be the name itself that was causeing the problem. All this of course is out of combat.

But since 3.2, this isn't happening. I have been unable to get anyone focused upon and set into a "Focus" group via HealBot. Any idea's?

I just installed the newest update and will keep you informed if this is continues

So my question is, how do i change the border texture around the healbot frame? Now it is blizz chatborder i think?

I have looked back in the comments and checked the settings, but I cant find any reference to the background settings. I have the bars at full alpha at all times and reduce from right to left on damage and sometimes the bars can be quite difficult to see if the surroundings are of the same colour or bright (like the floor in Maexxna) whether the bars are green or class coloured.

It would be good to be able to change the background alpha of the addon, rather than having to use eepanels to blank out the background and having to change its size every time I change from 5man to 10man etc...

The background is already slightly darkened but not enough but when I use Grid the background of the frames is darker and easier to see. Maybe I am missing a setting?

Like he said, healing addons like PerfectRaid and VuhDu reload just fine after getting disconnected and logging back in to the game while in combat. I don't know why Healbot couldn't do such a thing.

For an addon that has options (that I use) to remove my group windows it's kinda important for my health bars to show back up on my screen after a DC and/or a crash. Otherwise I'm completely useless until I get out of combat. :P

Still I see some raidframe addons that reload correctly in combat (I'm not fully sure about Grid, but PerfectRaid works like a charm). :-/ Maybe HB's options could be more "load-save"-like? Changing them "on the fly" is sometimes a bit clunky and eventually interrupts healers' job, same goes to "eternally floating" HB's main frame.

Some kind of "frame lock" (and, also, raid-marks - star, skull, circle, etc.) could be useful. Any ideas?

It's not possible to conduct operations necessary to arrange unitframes when you're in combat.

I still see the problem that HB doesn't reload properly when, say, I was DCed from server and reconnected while raid/group was in combat. It just doesn't show up then, and recovers only when I leave combat. Is that just me?

Any chance of getting mouse scroll (up & down) as options for mouse buttons ?

After a while of using a modifier key my lil pinky feels like the claw lol, would be nice to have 2 more buttons I could use without having to use a modifier

After a while (in solo play) the bars turn "inactive". Is there any way to make the addon be active full time in grp and inactive in solo mode?
