HealBot Continued   

I've been using HealBot for quite a while and wanted to start by saying thank you for making this mod. In the interest of experience, I've tried Grid/Clique, Grid2/Clique and VuhDo, and IMO, all of them do nothing more or better/more efficient than Healbot except make configuration a huge ordeal. People claim efficiency/speed when it comes to Grid, but never post any facts -- such as memory/cpu usage. I've profiled them all, and surprisingly Grid is the LEAST efficient raid mod in terms of CPU.

That said, one of the quirks I've noticed about HealBot as of late is pet frames extending down below the 5 limit I have set (pets set to 5), each group is vertical with a maximum of 5 also...so the frames shouldn't ever extend below 5, yet for some reason they seem to do so. To note, I have pets set to a maximum of 5 in the general tab yet they seem to supersede this limit somehow. I unfortunately do not have a screenshot of this.

Has anyone else experienced this, and/or know what I've done with my configuration (or didn't do) that may be causing this to happen?

going back to .13 i have the bar set at 10 yet in 25 man 25 pop up ..dont understand why its doing this i dont want the whole dam raid in one 12inch bar also i like it better when you picked what groups you wanted in heal bot bar the slider imo sucks

had the slider set to 10 bars got into a 25 man and BAM 25 bars, the test bars went down to 10 but the live bars kept going up to 25 . whats with that , have there been changes to hb.

I got this error last night in Icecrown 10 during the gunship encounter..half way through the fight too..I wasn't disconnected or anything either..it just came up..

If you want a macro that work in HealBot, you have to use @hbtarget (for HB clicks) or @mouseover (for manual cast from keybar).

for "Make it work": Skins - chat - make sure you have proper settings and it not set to "Notify for resurrection only".

On your first point, I am not successful in getting the healbot messaging to work for me. Maybe I should look for more tutorials on it.

On second, if I do not include a modifier that specifies the target I want, it will cast innervate on myself, no? For example, /cast [help,nodead] Innervate will cast on myself, I believe.

I am relatively new at this, so your patience and understanding is appreciated.

First, I'm not really sure what you're trying to do what Healbot can't do by itself.
It can announce spell casts in chat, and only do it on succesful cast.

Second, @target is useless in terms of... well, you could better use exists as more useful definition, or you could just omit it.

I've been working on a macro that does a few things I have not found an addon to do. Basically, I wanted to put together the following:

- a macro that checks for spellcooldown AND if the target is in range, and if not in C/D and player is in range, then sends a message to chat and a cross-server whisper, and casts the spell.

Ok. maybe that's too much for a macro, but i tried it by linking two via the /click command.

This seems to work in testing.

BUT, when i replace "target" with "hbtarget" so I can use it with HealBot, it stops working (both the sendchatmessages and the cast). A work-around I have found so far is to replace "target" with "mouseover". The unitframe for Healbot works with mouseover.

Any thoughts or tips would be greatly appreciated.

unfortunatly i cant set up them as general buttons-now they are just set up as forward and backward commands(default settings)

Starting in 3.3.0.13 a change to the bars happened I'd like to know how to revert to it's previous state..

It used to be..bars would illuminate when someone had threat..or was taking damage..or of course both..

As of 3.3.0.13 it seems all bars illuminate while any or all of the party members are in combat..making it so I've got to watch the bars themselves much more closely to see if any of them are dropping..

I have "Highlight Active Bar" off in skins..but I'm not sure what to do ;-/
