What do skins have to do with buttons 4 and 5 working properly? And for that matter, what do macros have to do with HealBot at all?

If we're even on the same page here, whatever you're suggesting sounds like a workaround to the issue, and I don't want that, I want it to *work*. Clicking a party member's name in the HB frame and having an assigned spell cast on that party member is what HB should be doing, and that does not depend on skins or macros to work correctly. I don't even know what you're suggesting I do with all this other "advice."

Please consider possibility to assign more than one "use" for a given skin.
May be create a separate tab, listing all available cases and allowing to assign skins for each.
Currently, if you have a skin you're using for party, and a skin you're using for raids, but no skins dedicated for "solo", the solo mode will be the last one you have used.

So if your mouse isn't working then you have not configured it correctly on your OS, for example with some logitech mice, buttons 4 and 5 actually do something completely different and you have to use logitech's SetPoint software to tell the mouse... actually please use as buttons 4 - 5 If you have logitech, get their SetPoint software and configure your mouse, it is available for 32bit and 64bit windows OS's, it is free.

In this play, it helps you choose correct unit to apply mouse click. (Yeah, generic answer, but that's essentially what HB do for the most part. The fact it actually CAST certain spells you may consider a coincidence)

All I'm trying to do is go into HB's "Spells" tab, choose "Button 4" in the drop-down menu, and then assign spells for when I click, shift-click, alt-click, ctrl-click, etc. on a party member's name on the HB frame.

I don't understand what your steps have to do with that, or how a mouseover is involved.

Then read something about how WoW UI works. I.e. wowwiki.

I already have my mouse software set up so that WoW recognizes mouse button 4 as "NumPad 1" and mouse button 5 as "NumPad 2," and then I have NumPad 1 and 2 assigned to action bar slots, so I suppose that's what you mean by steps 1 and 2.

They weren't "generic steps". It was a complete and exhaustive guide to achieve intended goal - utilizing specific buttons in gameplay.

Would HealBot recognize them or no - you shouldn't care. It's not what you want in the end of the day, thus it has no practical value.

Good for you and Russia. But how about telling us specifically how to make HealBot recognize button 4 and 5 on the mouse? Your generic steps don't help.

Alright, I already have my mouse buttons 4 and 5 corresponding to NumPad 1 and 2. But how do I make HB utilize this? AFAIK, HB doesn't work with keyboard keys.

Well Clique for some reason does recognize my buttons as F9-10.But to achive that in HB is mistery to me as of this time.
