PLEASE NOTE: Auditor is now made for LibDataBroker (LDB). A list of LDB Display Addons and other addons using LDB can be found here.
If you use FuBar, then just grab Broker2FuBar, and Auditor will merrily show up as it always has done for you, once you have enabled it in the Broker2FuBar options.
Author: Alarisha - alarisha [.at.] gmail [.dot.] com
Description:
Auditor is a nifty addon that tracks your incoming and outgoing money from a variety of sources, and provides an easy to use Data Broker interface to choose whose data you would like to look at, and for what time period. It is, essentially, MoneyFu for those who have obsessive information disorder. Like me. Yes, I *must* know how much I spent on training last week. Why? I dunno. But I must.
Features:
- LDB at last! Yes, your eyes don't deceive you. Probably.
- Money tracking, and lots of it.
- Data separated by realm.
- Character totals.
- Combined totals.
- Clickable tooltip to customise what you can and can't see.
- Ability to look at all your characters' specific data from any of your other characters on that realm.
- Accounts can be viewed per session, day, last seven days, or in their full, all-time glory.
- Cash notification options.
- Optional auto-repairs (per-character preference).
- Optional auto-sell for grey items (per-realm preference).
- Time offsets, so you can set Auditor to reset when dailies reset!
- Many things. Just get it and see!
What does Auditor track?
- Loot money! Whether you are solo, in a party or in a raid.
- Vendor money! Stuff you buy from or sell to vendors.
- Quest money! Money you gain from quests, and money you spend on quests (e.g. the Scholomance Key quest).
- Trade money! Doing enchants or transmutes? Yep, it catches money exchanged in trade.
- Mail money! Sending money to/from your alts or friends? Tracked.
- AH money! At last, both outgoing AND incoming Auction House money is tracked.
- Training money! How much did you spend on training and respecs? Do you care? Well, you'll know anyway.
- Flight money! Spent a day flying about Azeroth? See how much you should claim back on your tax expenses.
- Repairs money! See how much money you really spent on repairing your kit after those instances.
- Unknown money! Money gained/lost, but for whatever reason, Auditor can't work out where it's from. Better than nothing, anyway.
- Reconciliation money! That's money for when you just installed Auditor, and it has to account for the cash you have right now, or for when you crashed, or were logged on at a friend's house. It's all good.
- Guild Bank money! Money you deposit or withdraw from your Guild Bank. Exciting, I know.
- LFG reward money! Guild contributions money! Reforging money!
When does it track it for?
Auditor tracks your money on a per session, per day, per last-seven-days and all-time basis.
Known Bugs:
None.

Would there be any way possible to add to the list the amount you've contributed to the guild funds? You know, the bits that are at the end of the sentence in the chatbox that says how much you've looted, and right after that is how much gets put into the guild funds.
While I realize those funds are not coming out of our own pockets, perhaps it could be a new heading? Like "Guild Gold Contributions"? Just an idea that I would really really love to see in this addon.

Re: Re: Reports
Appears I coppied over the original Auditor2 folder but umm.. umm.. perhaps didnt copy the broker one over! (I guess some other people may be as stupid as me so perhaps this will help them out too if they are suddenly getting errors!) Thanks for the addon, hope all is going well for you outside of WoW (I have done much the same, gone from hardcore raiding 6months ago to just logging on once a week or so). Cheers |

Re: Reports
Auditor does work fine in patch 4, so if you've definitely got both of the folders and addons loaded, I'd check by disabling other (possibly broken) LDB addons, in case one of them is breaking and stopping the Broker part of Auditor loading. |

Reports
Hiya Alarisha
Just come back to game after a 6month break to see the patch changes and getting some of the errors said below. Please find a copy of what my bugsack/grabber had contained with.. hopefully it will be of some help (note I am still running a lot of other addons but this is the only one that flags). If this is of no use and you need me to disable other mods and reproduce the problems then just say This was as I walked away from a vendor after getting rid of junk Code:

My fault, it was some other LDB-stuff breaking everything. But you could at least bump the TOC.

Occasional Error in the Bugsack
I do get an occasional error when looting:
1x Auditor2-4.0\Core.lua:390: bad argument #1 to 'find' (string expected, got nil) Doesn't happen every time, and doesn't seem to affect the AddOn functioning as wonderfully as always ... just thought I'd throw it out there. |

It's working fine for me as well as far as the money tracking and reporting goes.
The only real bug I can find is that reforging is considered unknown. |

It seems to be working for me just fine.
No errors so far. I did start from scratch with 4.0.1.

Regarding the auto-selling: you're right, it is slower that other auto-sellers, but on purpose. It used to be fine for auto-sell and auto-repair to be immediate, but since Shattrath and then Dalaran, the game started lagging quite a bit when auto-selling items in these places. What that meant was that the code for checking for merchant-sold items got confused and ended up putting insta-sold items in the Unknown category, or accidentally putting it in the Repairs category if you also had auto-repair mods (hence the inclusion of these two things in Auditor, so that they got categorised properly). So anyways, the only way round it was to force a little delay. I'm very glad you like Auditor |

I know it's not common, but there are soulbound grey items in the game, if you could throw in a check for soulbound before trying to sell them, I would be super grateful. (It means I wouldn't have to do it after an update xD)
Also, an observation... Compared to my former auto-seller, the auditor auto-sell seems a bit slow, I haven't pinned down why, though. I've used this mod for.....gosh... 2? 3? years now, and love it. So I'd also like to say thank you So, Thank You. ^_^ |
