PLEASE NOTE: Auditor is now made for LibDataBroker (LDB). A list of LDB Display Addons and other addons using LDB can be found here.
If you use FuBar, then just grab Broker2FuBar, and Auditor will merrily show up as it always has done for you, once you have enabled it in the Broker2FuBar options.

Description:
Auditor is a nifty addon that tracks your incoming and outgoing money from a variety of sources, and provides an easy to use Data Broker interface to choose whose data you would like to look at, and for what time period. It is, essentially, MoneyFu for those who have obsessive information disorder. Like me. Yes, I *must* know how much I spent on training last week. Why? I dunno. But I must.
Features:
- LDB at last! Yes, your eyes don't deceive you. Probably.
- Money tracking, and lots of it.
- Data separated by realm.
- Character totals.
- Combined totals.
- Clickable tooltip to customise what you can and can't see.
- Ability to look at all your characters' specific data from any of your other characters on that realm.
- Accounts can be viewed per session, day, last seven days, or in their full, all-time glory.
- Cash notification options.
- Optional auto-repairs (per-character preference).
- Optional auto-sell for grey items (per-realm preference).
- Time offsets, so you can set Auditor to reset when dailies reset!
- Many things. Just get it and see!
What does Auditor track?
- Loot money! Whether you are solo, in a party or in a raid.
- Vendor money! Stuff you buy from or sell to vendors.
- Quest money! Money you gain from quests, and money you spend on quests (e.g. the Scholomance Key quest).
- Trade money! Doing enchants or transmutes? Yep, it catches money exchanged in trade.
- Mail money! Sending money to/from your alts or friends? Tracked.
- AH money! At last, both outgoing AND incoming Auction House money is tracked.
- Training money! How much did you spend on training and respecs? Do you care? Well, you'll know anyway.
- Flight money! Spent a day flying about Azeroth? See how much you should claim back on your tax expenses.
- Repairs money! See how much money you really spent on repairing your kit after those instances.
- Unknown money! Money gained/lost, but for whatever reason, Auditor can't work out where it's from. Better than nothing, anyway.
- Reconciliation money! That's money for when you just installed Auditor, and it has to account for the cash you have right now, or for when you crashed, or were logged on at a friend's house. It's all good.
- Guild Bank money! Money you deposit or withdraw from your Guild Bank. Exciting, I know.
- LFG reward money! Guild contributions money! Reforging money!
When does it track it for?
Auditor tracks your money on a per session, per day, per last-seven-days and all-time basis.
Known Bugs:
None.

Hi Eries, I'm afraid I don't speak German so I have no clue whatsoever what you meant by that. If you could maybe translate it to English, or have a friend do so, I can try to help, because the unhappy smileys don't look good. I know there is no German localisation yet, so maybe you could help with that if that's the problem? |

Ok, so here's the example. Let's say, we decided to start using Accountant today. We already have 100g on our only character. Accountant shows net total of nothing. This is because it has not seen us gain or lose any money. Say we then spend 50g. Accountant will now show we have a net loss of 50g in our Total tab. So, Accountant reads, for example: Auction House Outgoings: 50g Total Incomings: 0g Total Outgoings: 50g Net total: -50g I hope we can all see how this might happen. Accountant shows we should have -50g, but in reality we have 50g in our bank, having started with 100g, and spent 50g. Now, we decide to install AuditorFu, and import our data. When we load into game, AuditorFu sees our 50g, and says 'Hmm, I have 0g in my data, and 0g does not equal 50g. Therefore, the player must have got 50g from somewhere. I don't know where. Let's put it in the Unknown Incomings'. So, when we load into game, AuditorFu shows for session/day/7day/total that we just got 50g. This system is basically designed so that AuditorFu's totals and your actual totals add up. This is useful for when, for example, you crash after earning 20g. In Accountant, it would never show that 20g anywhere, and it would be lost forever from your data - AuditorFu puts it down to a crash or whatever, so lists it as unknown incomings. Hopefully this still makes sense. Now, what happens when we import from Accountant? First of all, it resets AuditorFu's data for the character you are importing to, so any previous data (earnings, reconciliation) are chucked out. Our Accountant data shows we have -50g Net Total still (started with 100g, spent 50g, but only had Accountant installed when we spent the 50g, thus ending up with a negative net total). So AuditorFu imports all of Accountant's data, in this case, just one bit of data - and puts 50g into AH Outgoings, just like Accountant had. AuditorFu then looks at your current cash (50g) and its own Net Total as imported from Accountant (-50g) and says 'Well, that's impossible. We can't have a net total of -50g and still have 50g cash. Therefore, 100g must have come from somewhere to allow us to a) spend 50g in the AH, and b) still have 50g cash. Therefore, I will say that we had 100g Unknown Incomings' and it adds 100g to Session/Today/7Day/Total data. Thus.... you could potentially see, on the session/day/7day timeframes: Unknown incomings: 100g Total incomings: 100g Total outgoings: 0g Net profit: 100g Total: 50g. And this makes perfect sense, in light of the fact that from Auditor's point of view, Accountant told us we had -50g, when in fact we had 50g. So, your couple of gold discrepancy is due to this. At some point, Accountant missed a few g, maybe before you installed it, maybe you crashed, maybe whatever. But at some point, Accountant stopped having a net total that was exactly equal to your actual current money. And AuditorFu, on import, reconciled this phantom cash into the Unknown category. Yes, it looked weird in v.1.0.0, so for v1.0.2 I just made it add it (for import reconciliation) to the total category, but despite the weirdness, it still was and is correct, and if you add up all the numbers in the total category, they will make sense. And if you load up Accountant again, you will see that it did not tally with reality. I hope this makes sense to you! If it doesn't, I'm sorry, but I tried to explain it well. Maud'dib's problem was, I believe, due to the order of addons loading meaning that when AuditorFu checked current money, it got a 0 response from a still not-finished-loading WoW client, and v1.0.2 makes sure everything has loaded before the reconciliation step so that can't happen anymore. Rest assured, however, that it is right, and it does work. Yes, after import it sometimes looked weird if Accountant had you at a net total that was appreciably different from your actual total, but it still all added up. Hope this helps! Let me know if it does or doesn't! Oh, and I'm glad you're pleased with it, despite it appearing to be buggy for the import.

--It's written using Ace2 libraries, so if that turns you on, it'll be a treat. If that doesn't turn you on, then forget I mentioned it, as you won't ever have to worry about it.
Very (very) nice to see this develop into a usable, (almost) bug-free replacement of Accountant. One small problem: I encountered the same issue that Muad'dib did below importing from Accountant 2.3. Before importing, FuBar_AuditorFu lists current money on the character in the "Unknown" row (as you explain below). After importing on one character, the totals don't align with the information in Accountant--up to a couple of gold difference in them. And there is some "left over" money in the "Unknown" row that isn't present in Accountant--not the same amount that was there before the import, however. This occurred after importing from every single different character on a single server. And no, I did not crash, spend/gain money or lag on the server. Its not a major issue, but it would be nice if the data that was imported was identical to what is contained in Accountant. I see for the new version 1.0.2 that you "Fixed potential data reconciliation weirdness if certain unusual conditions were met". Unfortunately, I already imported with version 1.0.0 and have spent over a day collecting/spending money with Accountant off. So no chance here of deleting then reimporting; the totals would be less accurate than the discrepancies present in the first import.
