CandyDice is inspired by the venerable and widely used DiscoDice rogue timer mod. CandyDice uses the Ace2 embedded libraries (notably CandyBars for the timer bars), tracks a wider variety of abilities, shows cooldowns as well as duration timers, and is sufficently generic that it can show duration timers for any buff and cooldowns for any ability. It works out of the box with most rogue abilities, several horde racials, and a few low level mage cooldowns.

Updated to version 70 with WOTLK 3.3 compatibility.

This addon really has a lot of potential, but right now for me it has a fatal flaw.

If I refresh Slice&Dice or Find Weakness (and I'm guessing any other abilities as well) before the buffs actually expire, the timer bar does not refresh itself. It continues counting down to 0 as if you had not refreshed it and then disappears. Since I keep Slice&Dice up constantly, and attempt to do the same for Find Weakness, this means that I cannot rely on this mod at all really for accurate numbers as it will only work every other time. I was trying this mod in a raid tonight and had to go back to just looking at my Blizzard buffs for the rest of the raid

I can see this either being fixed by replacing the bar with a new one or just updating the timer on the bar.

Hello, i'm a frostmage, and i love your addon .

I have one little request, can you implement a timerbar for the water elemental?
something like Elemental Flux, but i hate the hasty timer .

something like this with a nice candybartimer would be great.

Thumbs up Love this addon-hope its bug free soon

I noticed this in BTS version:
If i have my slice and dice bar running and i renew it before it finishes then bar disappers instead of showing new timer on same bar. If i w8 for it to finish and renew it when bar is not active it works fine.

Also rupture and garrote only works now and then, not always.
The gouge, cheap shoot and kidney shot not showing up in pvp-i would realy like to see this working.

Changing colors of bars also doesnt work for me



Anyway great addon, keep up the good work. 5 stars

I play a shadow priest and a rogue -- this addon is a monster for rogues, already replaced 3 seperate addons I had for him.. But I was wondering, is there a way I can adit in Vampiric Touch, Vampiric Embrace and talented Shadow Word: Pain timers? I saw a Priests.lua, but the format is foreign to me -- I tried a few things, but I ended up picking up DoTimers until I can figure out how to use this to track those..

Any hints? Even if it's just an example of one, I can figure out the others from there

Is it possible to make Candydice work like CCwatch used to? It seems like the prefect mod to catch Dot's durations, stun durations, poly durations, fear durations etc, and then display them in the little timer countdowns that they have going.

Or is this possible now even, and I'm missing it somehow.

Already updated all the ones that have updates...and the problem magically disappeared

But now I get a new error

I haven't done any pvp on the beta since I updated the mod, I'll see if I can figure it out.

This has been reported by several people but I can't reproduce it locally. I suspect it's a mismatched AceConsole issue, could you try updateing any of your other Ace mods?

Made the adjustments to cheap shot; it works. I understand the limitations, but I prefer to see the timer for it.

I understand what you are saying.

Would it be possible to use additional criteria somehow to help the mod 'see' that it is your garrote or cheap shot that has been applied? Perhaps by checking the energy just used (accounting for Dirty Deeds, of course)?

Of course, even if this were possible, it would still think you had applied garrote or cheap shot if you use a different ability with the same energy cost at the same time that another rogue applies garrote/cheap shot to a target nearby. But it would still give us fewer false positives, I think.

Maybe also add in something about leaving stealth, since both garrote and cheap shot would have you leaving stealth?

I'm not a master lua coder by any stretch, and don't know what is possible using the allowed fuctions. Just an idea.

On a separate note, is it possible to use your timers for tracking the duration of poisons applied to your target?
