Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

If it helps at all about the problem with the raid frames, it started happening after upgrade 1.1.0. 1.0.6 is fine. But once you update to 1.1.0 or higher is when the problem starts occuring with the raid frames.

Cladhaire, found an issue or rather one of my users did and I tracked it down to Clique.
PB4 has an option to have Click through frames (i.e. frames that have ignore mouse input). If a frame like that is registered with Clique the mouse always gets enabled upon entering combat. Oddly, this happens even if the frame is configured in the Clique frame blacklist. I could simply not register these frames, however, since there's no method for unregistering frames if a user disables the mouse on a frame that already exists (enabled being the default) then the frame will stay registered until the next reload and will exhibit this behavior. As always, bug me on IRC and I'll be happy to help you debug this. |

Unit Frame Option
What happened to the option window for disabling/enabling Clique per Unit Frame? I've had to stop using Clique for this reason as I want it functioning only on my party frame or raid frame and nothing else.

OK, I got it mostly working. Here's what I have done.
The details are in this post. The only problems I have left are as follows. How do I get the new buttons that are created into the ClickCastFrames table? The buttons are generated dynamically by SecurePartyHeaderTemplate and I don't get "notified" until the initialConfigFunction snippet is processed. I'm going to try to add it to the snippet but I'm not sure if that will work. Also I can't seem to get the menu to work on my buttons. The menu works on the stock UI frames. |

Does updating with the newest version always clear all set bindings? I didn't remember it doing this is 3.3.5. I guess I didn't update it every day either. Just wondering if I'm doing something wrong as I've had to redo my bindings every time I update to your latest build.

You can't set right-click/left-click to a global binding ever. You just can't do it. Global bindings should only be key-presses, because they are truly global and will always exist. As for your bindings randomly stop working, no one else is actually reporting that issue, especially if yours continue to be visible in the binding configuration menu. In order for me to diagnose anything else, you would need to give me your saved variables file, so I can be 100% clear about what we're talking about, and you'd need to tell me precisely what is happening with step by step instructions. I healed for three house tonight using the default Blizzard frames with absolutely 0 issues. I am not saying there are not bugs with the addon, we all can see quite clearly that there have been and I am aware of that more than anyone else. This should not happen with the default unit frames. If another addon overwrites them, then that is a conflict that is virtually impossible to detect in the current state of WoW. The fact that toggling global on and off shows quite clearly that this is an issue with another addon overwriting Clique's attributes. This will NOT happen in the default user interface, so you'll need to talk to your compilation author. The same problem would have happened in the previous version of Clique, FWIW. It's always been this way. I dont know where TukUI is, I don't know which version or website you are using, not that I have a chance to look into it.

I seem to be having a problem similar to previous posters. I set up my bindings and then they apparently stop being recognized. For example I'll set up Greater Heal as Shift+Right Click. I'll then try this on a unitframe, and nothing happens at all. No error, nothing, even after several attempts. Sometimes it works initially, then stops. I don't mess with any options at first, however when it stops working, if I go into the binding setup and enable the Global function, the cast still won't work. But, when I disable Global again, the binding will work and then stop again.
I use TukUI, but I've disabled it and I find this still happening with the default Blizzard unitframes. I've tried clearing saved variables, reinstalling, etc. I can't find any particular pattern to the problem yet. I'm using version 1.2.3. Thank you for an excellent addon, your work is appreciated! |

Can someone post some good links on how to integrate clique into my mod. I used to write all the click handlers and such but I would rather just use clique. It seems very intuitive and then I don't have to do it.
I'm using SecurePartyGroupHeaderTemplate and I think I have to change but I'm not sure. Can someone help me out? I found this but there's not enough information for me to understand. http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...603#post208603 Thanks |

Cladhaire, I think my question got lots amidst all the posts today, so i am reposting it in the hope it will catch your eye
Is there any way to make the blacklist frames settings tied to a specific profile? I have a druid both Resto and Boomkin and I find myself wanting to blacklist different frames depending on the spec I am playing. As an option, is there anyway to make a combat-only click set? Thanks! |

I'll look into it, but these compilations have a hell of a time staying up to date with all the changes post-patch.

And I'm using MonoUI http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Cataclysm.html As for the bindings, it's healing bindings, basically Just left Click, right click, middle click, etc. EDIT: I'm not using the whole UI, just the oUF frames by the way.
