OmniCC  Updated less than 3 days ago!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.9
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

Is there any way (either through the GUI or through lua code) to prevent the timer from showing in a specific frame?

I love OmniCC for most of my cooldowns but there is one frame that I made myself in a small addon that I show other things on above the cooldown and I'd like to blacklist that frame with OmniCC if possible

cd finishing

hey m8, first of all i'm a great fan of all your work, you do a great job.
i wanted to ask you if you could do an option to be able to flash the finished cooldown's icon somewhere else in the screen and not only in the bar itself... you know, like many other CD addons have that would be really cool because many people love that feature but don't want to use another CD addon, this one is the best :P

Is there a way to show the cooldown timer only on the spell buttons but not in the mini buff / debuff icons that appear below the character portrait?

I set the number font from thin to none and they kind of dissapeared but now I can barely see them in my spell buttons.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Btw, I'm using OmniCC with Bartender3. There's probably a way to do this but I haven't figured it yet.

It would help to know which version of OmniCC you are running, as well as your addons

omnicc lags game when I incur a cs effect...

Hey there, perhaps someone can lend some assistance. I really like this addon primarily because it's one of the only addons that I know of that aside from providing cooldowns for all abilities/items it provides cooldowns for debuffs/buffs on enemies and self.

My problem occurrs usually when I'm doing arena, and on my warlock I get a counterspell effect (mage cs, rogue kick, warrior pummel) while casting say a shadow school like fear or drain life etc... What ends up happening is all my shadow school abilities immediately get cooldowns for the period of the lock out. Which for a lock is a ton of shadow school spells and this lags out my computer. This is really really bad since when doing rated arena games, this can cause a loss.

Now, I've gone into the configuration and disabled Show Cooldown Models, Show Pulse, Use MM:SS Format settings.

Aside from this, is there any idea of any other setting I could change to prevent this lag when I get CS'd?

There is another cooldown addon which I've used which was called: Cooldown Timer Text but it doesn't have the debuff/buff cooldowns on targets or self like OmniCC has which is why I've been trying out OmniCC.

Thanks in advance to any suggestions you can provide.

Open the Interface options at the main menu. The OmniCC options will be listed in the Addons tab.

I have been using ABinfo for a long time but since no-one updates it anymore I am soon forced to find alternatives. OmniCC handles the cooldowns, and I would love to see the "ability counter" in it too.. Or if there's an separate addon for that, throw me it's name please
OmniCC is designed to be a universal cooldown addon, and for this reason, is not aware of if its on say, an action button, or an item, or a buff. So, its not really possible to implement the feature for me.

Hey Tuller... was just looking at the TOC and version history and it appears to be the 2.3 version still. Was that an oversight or did the wrong file get uploaded somehow? Thanks!

You know I read through all the pages and saw this response repeated a lot and took the time to create a screenshot and post it to imageshack and then totally dropped the ball by not including it into my previous post. Sorry I hit submit without including this.

Thats a SS of my layout. Not sure if it helps but I am using bartender3 for my bars and pitbull for the unitframes. The cooldowns on any of the items on the bars works fine. I set the scaling down to 0% and still cannot get it to show the cooldown numbers on debuff/buffs on the unit frames with 100% consistency.
