OmniCC  Updated less than 3 days ago!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.9
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

The text not showing up thing is a bug likely due to the SharedMedia-3.0 transition. It will be fixed when I get home today.

Try setting your font to something.

<CooldownFrame>.noomnicc = true. Not the parent of the cooldown frame.

Is there a way around this? Font settings etc I am missing, or is this a bug with the addon or was this intentional?

Thanks for the speedy reply! I just have a few questions if it's no bother I'm sure you have better things to do than support, heh. OK.. I use Bartender3 latest version whatever that is from WoWAce. My questions are:

1) Is there a minimum button size that OmniCC can attach too? I ask this question because I have some smaller buttons (45-50% scale) with cool down. I see something popup on my Felarmor but then instantly disappears. Since I never saw anything disappear before so I'm going to assume it's OmniCC putting info on that button.

I have an eePanel (actually 2) behind the button once is attached to a parent button and the other is attached behind to the WoW general UI. Would either of these panels effect OmniCC's ability to display info?

Here is a link to my current UI so you can see what I mean. The buttons in question are above the row of main buttons on the left and right. MYUI. Like I said OmniCC works fine on the bottom row of buttons but not on the 2 button groups on the left and right.

Thanks for any time you devote to this!

EDIT: Changed URL to one that wouldn't get censored.. heh..

I killed off the slash commands, and neglected to reimplement them. The omnicc menu is located in interface options. (escape, interface, addons, omnicc).

- the counters also appear on the new Shaman totem interface. Could you implement an UI option to not display them on the totem interface (as it already has its own timer). It should be possible with the tips you gave DonTristan for his problem, but a proper option would be nice nonetheless.
I'm very reluctant to add in any option that requires Omnicc to be aware of what it is on.

- The option "mm:ss format" does not seem to work with longer times - at least my hearthstone cooldown is still displayed as 59m.
That's intentional. How important are seconds at the 59 minute mark?

- I'd like to place the cooldown timer a bit below the default position more towards the bottom of the buttons. Where would I look to change the positioning?
It should be easy to find in the lua, if you look hard enough.

Increase Pulse Scale

Hey Therigwin,

I know you wanted it to be it more user-friendly for us to increase the scale of the pulse but I wouldn't mind editing the LUA files if you just show me where to do it.

I was playing around with it and couldn't figure it out for myself.

Id like to increase the pulse 3x.

Appreciate it!

I just downloaded OmniCC and when I went to the interface/addon options and tried to change the font, I got this error:

[2008/04/12 17:50:19-1201-x1]:
OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:325: <unnamed>:SetText(): Font not set
OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:325: in function <Interface\AddOns\OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:306>
OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:386: in function <Interface\AddOns\OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:386>
<in C code>: in function `Show'
OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:405: in function <Interface\AddOns\OmniCC_Options\menu.lua:395>

---

edit: I'm using SharedMedia that uses an external LibSharedMedia-3.0 library.
edit2: Now it works while another addon gives me an error. Go figure. Well at least I can change the font now :P

I love OmniCC for most of my cooldowns but there is one frame that I made myself in a small addon that I show other things on above the cooldown and I'd like to blacklist that frame with OmniCC if possible
<cooldownframe>.noomnicc = true will disable omnicc.
