SSPVP3  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

SSPVP3 is mostly improvements and recodes to sections of code, along with adding support for 3.0.x features.

Herald yells inside Alterac Valley are changed to be more consistant and will be colored by the faction that triggered it, you can also see how many resources are gained via the Mines inside the overlay along with chat alerts when the Captains are slain by a faction. Timers for how long until graveyards, bunkers and towers are included for Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley.

Includes match information like time left, nodes to win, final scores for Arathi Basin and Eye of the Storm. Along with flag carriers inside Warsong Gulch and Eye of the Storm, including coloring by flag carrier class and carriers health (when available). Other features are things like modifying the players arena panel to show both weekly and seasonal stats instead of having to toggle them as well as displaying team leader even if they're offline, or showing break down by server/class on the battlefield scoreboard and more, see configuration for a better list on all the features SSPVP3 has.

See, /sspvp ui for configuration, /arena for different data functions like games required to hit 30%, points -> rating or rating -> points conversions.

taint/petbar issues

On the taint subject, i get the "interface action was blocked because of an addon" message, it manifests itself in the game with my petbar not appearing after i dismount in combat. If i dismount with a spellcast, or dismount after being attacked the results are the same, no petbar for a good while- sometimes even through the next res. My taint log contains the following:

I assume you're using SSPVP2, issues regarding that should be directed their.

Wait for patch 2.3.2 essentially, the taint log you gave me doesn't tell me anything useful except that it appears it's caused by UIParent_ManageFramePositions() which has taint issues fixed in 2.3.2

autojoining still is bugged.

at least the priority checking doesn't work here. No metter if i set it to less or equal/less, i always join from one bg to another, even though therir priorities are all the same.

this happens since a very long time, since option house is used.

Does this still occur with SSPVP2? I'm not focusing on SSPVP bugs at this point unless it's happening in SSPVP2 as it'll be released as stable in a week or so most likely.

SSPVP2 is now stable, SSPVP1 is now essentially deprecated and unsupported.

Thanks to everyone who helped test SSPVP2, and enjoy the new features.

Mods do not have to use Ace libraries in order to be available on WoWAce SVN. I don't currently have any plans since right now the Ace SVN is a hugely unyielding place, last I heard the new WAU may support additional RSS feeds, so far it's far more likely that I'd have my SVN (And thus SSPVP) added to that list instead of hosting it directly on WoWAce.

Shall see what the end SVN changes result in.

Glad to see SSPVP being updated.

Couple questions. In AV... the auto-quest turn in for drops from players seem to not be working anymore like it did in the old version... is that going to be fixed?

Also... I cannot get the PVP Objectives Anchor to lock... it always is movable and seems to move on its own...and I can't get the anchor for PVP Objectives to go away... its kinda annoying see it there all the time.

Auto turn in was removed from SSPVP and split off into a seperate mode since it's suited as a stand alone one better, http://www.wowinterface.com/download...oThePoint.html

PVP Objectives should always lock, are you doing anything specific like trying to unlock or relock it in combat or are you just toggling it and it won't relock?

Flag carrier info not working for me

I'm using SSPVP2 r457 on en-GB WoW 2.3 on Windows.

1. The flag carrier feature doesn't seem to work at all for me (tested only with an Aliiance Hunter in WSG so far), no name appears next to the flag icons at all when the flags are taken. I received the following error(s) which look relevant (C&Ped from !Swatter):

2. In the Alterac Valley pane of the options it says "... from captains in towers", I assume that's a typo for "... from captains and towers".

3. I think older versions of this add-on announced killing blows in BCT (unless I'm thinking of a different add-on), is that coming back in the new versions of SSPVP at some point?

4. What does "Enable capture timers" in the AV tab do, by default it was off, I tried enabling it and didn't notice any difference (I got tower and GY timers either way). When I tried toggling it within the BG I got the following error:

Not that I can think of, it failed in every WSG I tried and I hadn't done anything weird. However I tried WSG again and it works now, the only thing I've done since it wasn't working is quit and restart WoW (WoW was NOT running when I installed it in the first place in case you're wondering and I did delete the old SSPVP folder first). Tomorrow I might try deleting my savedvariables for SSPVP2 and see if I can reproduce the problem.
