SSPVP3  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

SSPVP3 is mostly improvements and recodes to sections of code, along with adding support for 3.0.x features.

Herald yells inside Alterac Valley are changed to be more consistant and will be colored by the faction that triggered it, you can also see how many resources are gained via the Mines inside the overlay along with chat alerts when the Captains are slain by a faction. Timers for how long until graveyards, bunkers and towers are included for Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley.

Includes match information like time left, nodes to win, final scores for Arathi Basin and Eye of the Storm. Along with flag carriers inside Warsong Gulch and Eye of the Storm, including coloring by flag carrier class and carriers health (when available). Other features are things like modifying the players arena panel to show both weekly and seasonal stats instead of having to toggle them as well as displaying team leader even if they're offline, or showing break down by server/class on the battlefield scoreboard and more, see configuration for a better list on all the features SSPVP3 has.

See, /sspvp ui for configuration, /arena for different data functions like games required to hit 30%, points -> rating or rating -> points conversions.

To those who are having postioning problems and are running FuBar. Update FuBar (or more specifically update the library Jostle (LibJostle for FuBar 3, the Rock based flavor). This is the library that repositions the Blizzard frames like the MiniMap). You can find the update version at http://files.wowace.com or use WoWAceUpdater or the mod updater of your choice.

To Shadowd. keep up the good work with this mod, I have been relying on it alot since lately I have been on a PvP streak, haunting the various BGs.

Installing LibRock version of FuBar has no issues with me, the positioning is a bit off if you toggle frame locking on/off, but it works fine for that.

Are you using a different version, or is it a specific plugin thats causing it?

Can you try disabling them to see if that fixes it at least? If you guys can fix it through that as well it'll give me a better place to start.

Also, for both you and quicksylver. Are you using the FuBar feature where it pushes the minimap, player frame, buffs, ect down with the bar anchored to the top of the screen?

My husband and I are having the same issues as quicksylver. Unfortunately we rely on Fubar alot more than this addon, so we're not keen on disabling those to fix it. Here's hoping you find the problem! =)

ALT + Click, don't just click them like in older versions of SSPVP.

I also can't get sending AV timers to BG chat to work, I've tried with overlays locked and unlocked and with the "Disable overlay clicking" option set both on and off, no luck. I also tried removing SSPVP2.lua again and that didn't help either.

Mine is the opposite... I delete the saved variables and get into a WSG and it works for that game. I'm not sure how many consecutive games it works for, but I know if I go and do something else and try to WSG again without logging out that it will not show the flag carriers name+ hp% again.

I originally thought it might have been caused by the FuBar 3.0 auto-adjusting of Blizzard frames, but that was only a minor problem. Maybe i'll disable FuBar and see, but I was seeing the FuBar 3.0 moving the PVP world objectives/BG scoreboard up and then back down a half an inch every few seconds. Was strange.

Something else that might help is I'll send Shadowd the list of my UI's - maybe one of those might be clashing? I wont post the list here as it will clutter comment section.

EDIT:

Disabled all of my FuBar mods and problem is gone... worked without even deleting my saved variables.

1. Quit WoW (if necessary).
2. Delete/move SavedVariables\SSPVP2.lua and SavedVariables\SSPVP2.lua.bak.
3. Log-in to WoW, join a WSG notice the flag carrier stuff doesn't work, however many games you join.

PVP Objectives should always lock, are you doing anything specific like trying to unlock or relock it in combat or are you just toggling it and it won't relock?
Cool thanks for the info regarding the turn-in addon.

I'll have to check the objectives again... I was definately in the BG at the time and may have been in combat... I'll check it out again tonight when I get home from work.

Not that I can think of, it failed in every WSG I tried and I hadn't done anything weird. However I tried WSG again and it works now, the only thing I've done since it wasn't working is quit and restart WoW (WoW was NOT running when I installed it in the first place in case you're wondering and I did delete the old SSPVP folder first). Tomorrow I might try deleting my savedvariables for SSPVP2 and see if I can reproduce the problem.

Flag carrier info not working for me

I'm using SSPVP2 r457 on en-GB WoW 2.3 on Windows.

1. The flag carrier feature doesn't seem to work at all for me (tested only with an Aliiance Hunter in WSG so far), no name appears next to the flag icons at all when the flags are taken. I received the following error(s) which look relevant (C&Ped from !Swatter):

2. In the Alterac Valley pane of the options it says "... from captains in towers", I assume that's a typo for "... from captains and towers".

3. I think older versions of this add-on announced killing blows in BCT (unless I'm thinking of a different add-on), is that coming back in the new versions of SSPVP at some point?

4. What does "Enable capture timers" in the AV tab do, by default it was off, I tried enabling it and didn't notice any difference (I got tower and GY timers either way). When I tried toggling it within the BG I got the following error:
