SSPVP3  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

SSPVP3 is mostly improvements and recodes to sections of code, along with adding support for 3.0.x features.

Herald yells inside Alterac Valley are changed to be more consistant and will be colored by the faction that triggered it, you can also see how many resources are gained via the Mines inside the overlay along with chat alerts when the Captains are slain by a faction. Timers for how long until graveyards, bunkers and towers are included for Arathi Basin and Alterac Valley.

Includes match information like time left, nodes to win, final scores for Arathi Basin and Eye of the Storm. Along with flag carriers inside Warsong Gulch and Eye of the Storm, including coloring by flag carrier class and carriers health (when available). Other features are things like modifying the players arena panel to show both weekly and seasonal stats instead of having to toggle them as well as displaying team leader even if they're offline, or showing break down by server/class on the battlefield scoreboard and more, see configuration for a better list on all the features SSPVP3 has.

See, /sspvp ui for configuration, /arena for different data functions like games required to hit 30%, points -> rating or rating -> points conversions.

I agree 100% with Alarisha, great job on this mod. Have also been using it for ages.

I do have one question though, How do I bring up the count of Alliance and Horde in the overlay window?


Edit: Sorry, didn't see this posted earlier, but I agree that it should be readded.

Been using SSPVP2 for ages now, and always loved it. Tonight my guild and I tried the AV queueing thing - awesome!

hello,

am i wrong or when u enter a BG i cannot see the number of players already in (or joining)?

this was a good feature in the "old" SSPVP

Most likely an issue with Javas zip library, but given it works for everyone else with the exception of the built in Windows one, it's not really a priority to fix.

I fixed the problem by extracting it rather than using XPs built in zip opening. Using the built in Zip stuff seems to have an empty 'echo' copy of the folders. Perhaps this is due to the program being used to zip the file?

Problem downloading

Along with some other people that are having the issue of downloading this and getting it into the addons folder, I too am haveing problem.


What happens is that:
I download it... successful
open the folder... successful
drag the sspvp2 folder into my addons folder... ERROR! "Can not find the file specified"

I tried to put each thing in individually. i get errors with the lib folder, the lib file, and the fact that 2 things have the same name of modules (im assuming that same problem will happen with the lib folder and file also).

Any help?

bg minimap

Request ability to change the minimap to be more vertical as opposed to more horizontal. the ace addon 'capping' has this option to see what i mean.

also requesting countdown timers have option to include a bar that ticks down in addition to the actual number timers. again, capping does this to see what i'm talking about.

i would use capping (and have for a long while), but this addon has more features that i like.

I get this error when leaving arenas:

Also in regular bgs, the flag carrier names are still showing sometimes after leaving a game. This is when the match has completed.
