After many painstaking hours of development and testing (huge thanks to all my friends that helped test!) my newest creation is ready for the general public.
TTSpellTimer
Summary
This is a stand-alone addon that will display various debuff and timer related effects for a large number of spell and abilities. Each class has a supported set of spells, which will be listed later in this document. Using this addon does not require you to create macros for each of your spell or abilities. Just install and play as normal!

I seem to be suffering from a recurring error when using the succubus (and hence seduction) when in battlegrounds. It causes "Interface\AddOns\TTSpellTimer\TTSpellTImer.lua:1190: attempt to compare a string witha number". Any ideas?

Clique, Healbot
Having the same problems with my renews when using click casting with Clique and healbot. Instead of showing the person's name im casting the renew on it shows my name, Any way to fix this??... This mod is great, works better than any others ive used and I will continue to use it, would just be nice to actually see who the spell is on, instead of memorizing the order in which I renewed the tanks
![]() other than that, great job and thanks for this mod!! |

It's not showing the proper spelltarget when you use an addon like Clique and use click-casting. I really would love this addon if that worked to track me renews etc.
Thanks! |

Re: I probably did something wrong...But what???
A note to everyone else: This bug only exists if you're using the French version of the WoW client. I will be sure to get a fix for it in the next release. Thanks! |

![]() Hello, seems to be a cool mod, so i wanted to install it ( used nova and sheepwatch before 2.0) but it seems i did something wrong
![]() When the games start, i got an error message like this one: ...\TTspelltimer\TTspelltimerSpelldata.lua:4928: Table index is nil I tried to launch the /ttst menu, and it launched, but i got an error like this one: ...\TTspelltimer\TTspelltimerSettings.lua:284: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) i got a different error message on each section >_< and nothings appears in sub sections. So I tried to exit and relaunch the game, i shut down all my other addons, and launch 2 of my chars. But I still got the same error messages with the 2 different characters. So, i tried to install v1.21 and 1.20, same errors again ![]() Anyone got any idea about what's wrong? Thank you and sry for the inconvenience ![]() |

Just a brief stop to say thanks for this mod!
As a minor note, the rogue bleed progression on rupture is 6second base +2second per CP (making it 8sec at the first CP). It's currently set at 4sec per CP. |

This is a fantastic mod!!! Thank you so much. I noticed you are planning on putting in Paladin Seals and Judgements, and this will be soo cool.
I would also like to ask/beg that you put in: Divine Protection Divine Shield Blessing of Protection I am hoping this will be much easier than the Seals and Judgements. Please, please. It is VERY usefull to know when your bubble is going to pop!! Thanks again!! |

Yeah, buff monitoring is the real pain currently. Since you don't always cast it on someone in your group and the Blizzard default buff list scrolls the buff past the viewable list at times. Guess I'll need to look for a better target window that shows more buffs.

Unfortunately, this is a pain and prone to error. On top of that, you only get combat messages for units within a certain range of you (30 or 40ish yrds by default). If your target moves outside of this range, you will lose those messages and get an inaccurate count of how many changes have been consumed. I thought about adding all of this, but decided not to at this time. I may decide to revisit it in the future. The only other option is to monitor the target and see when the buff wears off. This would be simplier but once again, would require the unit to be in range at the time it expires. |

Re: Hunter Serpent Sting?
When checking for the successful application of a debuff there are two ways to do it: 1 - Look at all the debuffs on the target and find the one that matches what you just cast. 2 - Look at the combat log to see if the target gained the debuff just cast. For TTSpellTimer I chose the 1st route because I found it much more reliable than the 2nd option. The combat log doesn't distinguish who casted a debuff on a given target. So if JoeSchmoe could cast Corruption on Wolf and you cast Corruption on a rabbit, there's no way for the combat log to distinguish which of those corruptions was yours. I wanted to minimize the number of false positives that occur, so I chose to use the 1st option for TTSpellTimer. I hope that answers your question and clarifies what's going on. ![]() |

I see the newest version has Earth Shield included (wooot!), but one thing I'm noticing on it. It's only keeping track of the timer itself. Is there any way it can monitor the charges too? So that if the target uses up the charges before the timer is up, the buff will reflect that (ie. time out). Might not be possible, but.. thought I'd ask

Hunter Serpent Sting?
If this mod checks the debuffs on a target, how does it distinguish between my Serpent Sting and another hunters sting?
