After many painstaking hours of development and testing (huge thanks to all my friends that helped test!) my newest creation is ready for the general public.
TTSpellTimer
Summary
This is a stand-alone addon that will display various debuff and timer related effects for a large number of spell and abilities. Each class has a supported set of spells, which will be listed later in this document. Using this addon does not require you to create macros for each of your spell or abilities. Just install and play as normal!

Not working with german client
when starting wow with ttspelltimer i get the same error messages as mentioned by an other user (with a french clent?):
...\TTspelltimer\TTspelltimerSpelldata.lua:4928: Table index is nil I tried to launch the /ttst menu, and it launched, but i got an error like this one: ...\TTspelltimer\TTspelltimerSettings.lua:284: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value) I use a german client .. is there a workaround? Greetings, Lazamira

Any news :)
Hey i know itsChristmas, and if you have had anywhere near as much alcohol as i have had other the last week you wont feel like coding, but ...
![]() Any news on the click casting problem, not picking up the correct target ? Ill admit, i've tried spellwatch, which does work ok with the click-casting but on occasion just seems to completely miss a spell for some reason, wwhich yours never seemed to do ![]() a fix would be great, and a happy new year! Clilckcasting problems
I use Clique for clickcasting.
When i have myself targetted but I am click-healing on raid and/or party member the timer for, renew for example, has my name next to it, even though I have 'click-casted' it on a member of the raid, is there a way that this can be fixed? Still very nice mod though ![]() Deri |

For example: 1. Target mob A 2. Cast banish on mob A 3. Target mob B before banish finishes casting Result: No banish timer for mob A The solution is to not switch targets until you finish casting. I am going to look into using the combat log again, but when I first wrote the addon, the combat log was not generic enough. If you had multiple warlocks banishes, there was no way to know (from the combat log) which banish was yours. So, I chose to look at the mob's debuffs because it is more reliable and most people don't change targets very quickly or often enough to run into this limitation.

I have noticed that the tracking for banish is a little off, sometimes if i cast a banish the mod won't pick up on it and give the relevent timer info and icon despite it being enabled. I havent noticed it being specific to certain mobs either, its entirely random. Have any other warlocks noticed similar behaviour?

RESURECTIONS FOR TT
just thaught I might be able to sugest adding something in there for priest and pali or any class resurection.. i know the druid has it but would be really helpfull for the other classes to have something for theirs. otherwise so far I like it. having a large veriety of raiding toons and being able to use only one mod is great.

I'm currently looking for keeping track of short-time debuffs/CC effects for my 60 mage.
Currently I use CooldownTimers for cooldowns (perfectly suited), eCastingBar as a casting bar / enemy casting bar, and.... need something for CC/debuffs. I currently use BOTH TTSpellTimer and Natur EnemyCastBar. Why this? TTSpellTimer is wonderful, has more options and settings (like the needed text warning to channels), and he's a lot cleaner and better done. BUT, it doesn't detect spellbreaks (VERY VERY needed for me, I HAVE to know when someone breaks a sheep for example), and doesn't have very 'readable' bars, where you can cleanly see how many time is missing with a BIG and very easy-readable timer bar. Also, NECB watches for every CC/Debuff effect you cast with a wonderfully readable timer bar, flashing towards the ends, etc... and it evens shows timer bar for CC effects not done by you: for example, it shows me a timer bar when SOMEONE ELSE shackle/sap/polymorph a mob, so I can check how long the CC will last, not only for my own spells, but even for others spells (Debuffs: only cast by me. CC: cast by me and others). For this reason I'm forced to use NECB for CC effects like polymorph/sap/shackle, because it has a better readable layout, and because it detects spellbreak and others' casting. Twig, maybe could you check the code used in Natur EnemyCastBar for detecting CC effect breaks and other ppl casting, and add it into TTSpellTimer? That, along with a bigger/wider timer bar options (check CooldownTimers mod to see what I would like), would make this mod PERFECT for me. Thanks a lot m8 ![]()

Re: Thunder Clap & Pummel not showing timers
In the meantime, do a "/ttst" to bring up the settings window and make sure the timers for Thunder Clap and Pummel are enabled for you. (They're enabled by default, so unless you turned them off at some point, they should not have changed.) |

Thunder Clap & Pummel not showing timers
First off, want to say a big thank you to the author for creating such a useful and clean looking mod. It's much appreciated!
Want to know if anyone else was having Thunder Clap and Pummel not show up in the timer list? I have the latest version and did find any comments on it. Has the author received any bug reports on those specific warrior abilities not showing up as a timer? Everything else I tested for the warrior abilities showed up fine. |
