After many painstaking hours of development and testing (huge thanks to all my friends that helped test!) my newest creation is ready for the general public.
TTSpellTimer
Summary
This is a stand-alone addon that will display various debuff and timer related effects for a large number of spell and abilities. Each class has a supported set of spells, which will be listed later in this document. Using this addon does not require you to create macros for each of your spell or abilities. Just install and play as normal!

It looks really whacky on the tracking after 1.10, true. Especially since it sometimes catches the odd Corruption or CoA (instant on both), and then 90% not. Or something. Reeeeeaallly unstable on it

Re: Re: Cheapshot missing?
I have tried the newest updated version. It still does not work reliably.
I am using ct bar mod, ttst is not creating timers spells casted using the hot bar. Only spells casted by clicking icons in my spell book create new timers. |

i have to agree with earlier comment.
the fact that this addon disables itself at randoms moment makes it unusable to me. it's not reliable which is so sad cause this addon so owns. |

Hello Again!
The Addon works now on the German Version (translated the Spells i use) but i've got a problem with some Spells, who deactivate after i get the first hit from a NPC. The "Curse" Timer won't show up anymoore, after i get hit, or the Void Walker attacked the target. A new target also get no Curse Timers. Other Timers like Corruption work without Problems. Maybe i could help you with this Infos. MFG Eshgelay |

As a 'lock, this mod was just the thing I've been looking for and was working perfect for me pre-1.10. (I blame blizz) Now I'm having the same problem as 'wweeii'. I'll try deleting the 'TTSpellTimer.lua' to see if that works. Hope this helps others that might be having a similar problem. Thanks for all your hard work! |

Could any that is having problems with CT_BarMod and TTSpellTimer please contact me via private message? Please list all other mods you have. Based on my experience, I'm not entirely convinced that CT_BarMod is at fault. |

This mod works really weird.
If I target a mob and polymorph it and then deselct it won't create a timer even though the target got polymorphed. If I reselct the mob the timer pops up (a bit late though). Something similiar happened when my Frost Nova tracking bugged out. But it stopped tracking frost nova completely and I had to /console reloadui. I think /ttst reset window works too . But that's really weird since frost nova and cone of cold seem to start a timer even if I don't hit anything. Another thing I haven't been able to confirm yet is if the mod breaks when you zone. I remember doing Dire Maul and I did /console reloadui (this fixed the problem) and then died and zoned back in and had to do it again to fix it. Also it seems like the timers set to disappear when not in combat won't show up if you start with that ability before entering combat. Example: - I'm not in combat - I walk up to this mob without being in combat - Cone of cold him - No timer shows Two more things.. It would be nice if you could add ignite dot to show as a timer too. It won't clutter too much cause mages don't have that many abilities that will stay up too long (unlike warlocks). Just for completion. Feels really stupid when that's about the only ability left out for a mage. The second thing is.. is it possible to add progress bars? Seeing time is all great but usually you don't have time to look at the seconds. A progress bar is much better. In any case.. Good job with the mod. It has a lot of customability and great potentail. But a few big bugs is making it unreliable and I've tried my best now to help you make the mod perfect

A few bugs in 1.10.11000
Several folks have commented that the spell timers do not display. I had that happen and found that disabling and reenabling the mod fixed it.
It definitely does not save the timer position after it is moved. I have not seen any weirdness about it disappearing et al. Except for not saving the position and having to toggle enable (once) it seems to work perfectly otherwise. Great mod too!

Re: A few bugs in 1.10.11000
I am not 100% sure but I think the bug might be related to the new hide background option.
The timer functions fine until I choose to enable that option, then it breaks until you reenable/reload the ui. After which, the hide background option is disabled automatically again. |

Re: Re: A few bugs in 1.10.11000
I've noticed is that the timers don't show up after I've opened and closed the worldmap.
I verified this by disabling all addons except TTST. The timer starts working again if I reload the UI with the command /script ReloadUI() Hope that get's fixed.. this is an awesome addon. edit: ok I observed this on my Rogue.. doesn't seem to happen with my Warlock. (Rogue was in Badlands, Warlock in Darnassus)

Glitchy...
Tried it yesterday at our Nefarian and the only thing that displayed filling up my screen was curse of elements.
I had to /console reloadui to get rid of it. Messages that i edited didnt work (summons, soulstones and such...) I know you said it wasnt working entirely in raids but before patch it was working sometimes -> now it's just glictchy. I love this mod ! Make it work again... One thing you fixed though which is cool (but aint working still :s ), when trying to edit a custom message -> no more one character at a time =) Anyway, i will follow this thread and continue to try to make it work... cause this owns. |

Re: Re: Re: A few bugs in 1.10.11000
I've got the exact same problem as the post quoted, works fine up until I open up the world map - Sometimes abolish disease makes it appear, but only for abolish disease ...
Btw when it's fixed, would it be possible for you to show Shadow Vulnarbility? It doesn't matter if I'm the one that caused it or any other, I just need to know when I need to "rebuff" it Great mod (when it works!)

TTSpellTimer Updated
I've posted another update for TTSpellTimer. This should correct all the consistancy problems that people have been having since WoW patch 1.10.
If you are still having problems with this latest version, please try the following steps. If following these steps fails to get the timer working for you, please contact me via private message. 1. Exit WoW and delete the TTSpellTimer Saved Variables file. You can find it at this location on your computer: <WoW Install Folder>\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\SavedVariables\TTSpellTimer.lua 2. Use "/ttst reset window" from within the game. 3. Use "/ttst" to bring up the settings window. Go to the "General > Help" option and make sure the version information says "TTSpellTimer v1.11.11000". |
