If you are running WoW in 1920x1080 you can try this workaround:
Type the following into the chat if you're using a screen resolution of 1920x1080:

/run UIParent:SetScale(0.5333333333333333)

Unfortunately you won't achieve pixel perfection and there are texture glitchs, but so far I haven't found a better solution.

HINT:

Since I switched to a WQHD monitor (1440p), this is the last version with 1080p support.
The next update with 1440p support is already in the works, but I can't say at the moment whether it will be compatible with a resolution of 1920x1080.
You can still use this version, if necessary you have to update your AddOns if there are problems.

When the 1440p version is ready, I will check if simple a "port" is possible.
If this turns out to be too complex, I don't have the time to work on an independent 1080p version.

I am aware that many of you are still playing with a resolution of 1920x1080, but everything is evolving and so Yulu UI has to take this step now.

At this point I would also like to thank you for more than 5000 downloads. :)

You have to use a kgpanels for it.
Create a new panel and feed it with a border texture. I'm using a border texture that is coming with raven, because it looks like the one that Caith was using in his UI but it has a better quality. The original border texture from Caith is too small for the resolutions that we are using today.

I think that could be the reason why is is so "edged" in your screenshot.

Thank you very much for your help with this. Just out of curiosity, not sure if you saw the image I attached below in my previous comment, but how do you get the nice clean border around your kgpanels? I use Masque to do it for my abilities but can't figure out the panels

Hi,

because i will definitely play Shadowlands there will be an update for my interface. But I still need some time, because I depend on the AddOn developers. Many AddOns are currently still bugged and there will surely be one or two visual updates, because I learned a few things with my Yulu UI Classic.

The goal is to have the interface ready until the release of Shadowlands.

Until then you can do the following:
- Download the interface package
- Update all AddOns (e.g. with the Twich App)
- For kgpanels there is a simple fix here: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addon...nels/issues/66

- Disable AddOns that cause errors

I've been using Caith UI for years now and have just stumbled across yours which is a lot more cleaner then mine these days. Just wondering if you intend to update this UI for Shadowlands? Also, how do you get the really nice smooth borders on your panels and buttons? Mine look a little more rough/boring than yours haha. Here is an image to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Regarding 9.0.

So I've recently gotten into the Beta and it seems that KGPanels not longer functions due to the changes made to how the UI displays frames.

The Author of KGPanels doesn't seem to active anymore (Last online in November 2019) and am wondering if their is anyway to fix it?

Changed the UI a bit. Running 1080P now a days so had to grab the WTF files of the old 7.3

But this is what I got. Also looked at your classic one and coppied some idea's over. In love again with the UI.
Also using Opie for easy access of some stuff.

Are the fonts you are using for our name, target name, cast bar etc. the same as old caith?

What are they called?

That is correct. There was a profile for Vuhdoo in this UI-package before, but I removed it because it was broken. I've left the kgpanels for it in case I'm going to to bringt that VD-profile back.

The shadow-panels are basically a border around the frameborders with a low alpha value, so it looks like a shadow around the frames. It also makes the frames more "smooth".

kgpanels

I hope you don't mind asking questions in the comment about Kgpanels.

I am trying to identify each panel to replicate the border from the UI.

I can see that R_UF_ etc are raid frame ones , a_GD_AF_1 etc are Gladius ones.

Are the aa_VD_RF for vuhdoo frames?

I played around the kgpanels config and noticed the shadow frames didn't do anything, is it okay if I just ignore them?

I will be trying to replicate your UI in elvUI.
