Hello!
Many of you are probably fans of zork's Roth UI! Though he plans no more maintenance to it in Legion, I am here to wipe those tears from your face!
If not, this UI is a complete (or near complete) replacement for the standard Blizzard UI. While some things such as character info screen and menus are not replaced, most of the constantly visible UI elements are.
This will replace your actionbars with a 3-tier stacking set of action bars with a Diablo3 style background, replace the normal WoW actionbar artwork with a Diablo style Angel and Demon, replace the player frame with a set of Health and Power (mana/rage/energy/etc) orbs, and completely re-skin the target, target's target, party, raid, focus, boss and other Unit Frames with Diablo-esque style framework.
It will also replace the standard WoW Rune, Combo Point, Harmony, Soul Shard and Holy Power bars with ones more fitting to the UI's look and feel.
My revival of the UI features constant updating and support, quick reponses to questions and many new/improved features!
Among some of those notable changes are...
1. Raid frames will now track healing abilities!
Priests can easily track Renew, PW:Shield and more, Druids will easily see who has Rejuv and such! Almost exclusively playing a healer has made me tapper this addon back to our needs! Each healer has a variety of abilities they will easily track on the raid frames, and the best part is.. It will only display YOUR buffs, and only for YOUR class!
2. Vertical Party frames!
Many people in the past have disabled the Roth UI party and raid frames due to 3 simple reasons: Lack of customization, lack of buff/debuff tracking for healers and being stuck on those horizontal party frames! But fear not, if you wish to keep those horizontal party frames, there's an option in the config to disable the vertical ones!
3. Independantly movable Raid frames!
One of my biggest issues with the Roth UI raid frames was their clunkyness. It does make setup abit easier, but let's be honest, no one liked moving all the groups in the raid frame at once. Now you get to move them all individually!
4. Health and mana % on target health/power bars, and cur/max for both on the left and right top corners!
I've added a few text strings to the target healthbar, and made it slightly longer by default. This should help you easily tell what % and how much HP a boss has, aswell as making finding healers in BG's a tad bit easier (note: They are the ones with 160k instead of 32k max mana :P)
5. Updated AuraWatch!
This is a rather simple one, the version of Aurawatch used in the last version of Roth UI was rather outdated, i've updated it, and worked with the addon developer directly to incorporate a few new features aswell, special to Roth UI!
There are many many more small changes, as I customized this addon entierly to my playstyle and PC setup (screen size etc). You may find some UI elements too big or small for your liking, or some things in the wrong place. I'm more than happy to help you out by telling you what to edit to get your desired result, but you have to do the work.
Other than bug fixes and major features, I will not update Roth UI simply for things like changing default scale sizes or text string locations.
(This does mean new updates will likely overwrite your changes, though if you are concerned about this, I will provide links to Github commits for each update, so you can see where the changes take place, and protect your precious config.lua settings)
Also note: Between my light raiding schedule, full time work and full time school, I don't have extraordinary amounts of time to work on Roth UI, bug fixes will usually be fixed within a few days of finding them, but new features will not be added for much longer. Some features will not even be considered, such as expanding the /diablo config panel or adding a profile system.
If you have a simple question, I will attempt to get back to you within a day, if not sooner!

I re-parented the micromenu, stance and bag bars to the actionbar background, but I was unable to replicate the bug of them showing in the middle of the screen.
I'm going to wipe out all my interface settings and start over with a clean wow folder so I can see what's going on. Test it without any other addons enabled. It's possible another addon is somehow mucking up the works with mine, I can fix that but I have to know if it's another addon causing the problem so i can find out why, since I can't replicate, I can't fix. You guys may have to completely delete the Roth_UI folder, load up a character, exit back out of the game then reinstall Roth_UI, it's possible somehow my changes corrupted your layout-local file and it needs to be cleaned out (this can usually be done simply by logging into the game without Roth_UI enabled, but it's best to delete it and start again with a fresh copy.

On a side note, I need to know how to increase the hotbar size, they are kind of tiny at 2560x1440 lol Edit: Turned off all the addons except Roth UI and the nameplate thing still happens. I even deleted the WTF cache for the character I was on. Might be difficult to wipe the whole WTF folder because I have some custom TMW settings.

Under each bars section is a "scale" value, bigger number=bigger bars. Note that you will have to change the size of the actionbar background art, and exp/rep/artifact power bars to match the new actionbar size if you edit the file directly.(these can be changed in Roth_UI/config.lua under the player section (backgorund art=player->art->actionbar background, exp bar, rep bar and artifact power have their own subsections in the player section) |

Noticed sometimes names don't appear on nameplates and the raid icons are being displayed. I stumbled on this addon which re-enables LUA errors, however when using with Roth UI there weren't any errors appearing while flying around at the invasion event. NB: In the screenshot I had disabled all but the error addon and Roth UI, deleted WTF folder. Though I didn't log out, I thought a /reload would suffice. |

Thanks! This is what I have managed so far with the resizing (in code): Bars 1-3 wouldn't move on /reload so I had to set userplaced to false. I can't seem to move micromenu no matter what I set the X Y to, even with userplaced false. It's behind BAR 3. Same with bag bar. Maybe you missed something out with them since Bar 1-3 seems fine. NB: All this direct editing is why we need a config addon. Any changes we do to code gets overwritten with your new update

Sorry for the long wait guys, I'm usually must faster on replies but I've had a really bad day today. But don't worry I haven't forgotten about you all!
Under --PARTY change vertical to false Jin - I will continue to look into this. Does this bug only happen in the invasion event? Only on player nameplates? Or just all time time? I agree a config panel with all of these things would be nice, but I simply don't have the time to put into that kind of coding. As for the bag menu and stance bars, they are dynamically positioned based in the number if action bars you have displayed (1-3) you will have to edit their dynamic positions here : Roth_UI/units/player.lua Starting at line 104: https://github.com/galaxy119/Roth_UI...layer.lua#L104 Edit the position for all of the 'rABS_' bars, change the second number for each one to a higher number to move them up. I'm sorry this part is such a pain, I am still trying to figure out how to dynamically position. Them based on the action bar scale. Good news is, I won't have another update affecting the config.lua or player.lua files for quite some time most likely. So any other updates you can just copy paste your edited versions back in. I'll start including a list of edited files in the change log for each version I release. Romsh - world of warcraft/WTF/account/servername/charactername/layout-local.txt You can logout, copy the above file from one character and drop it into another, then login to that character. This will essentially copy their bar/unit frame positions in Roth. A profile system would be nice but I don't have the time to put into making one, unfortunately. IceWizard - woops. I do believe I need to fix how rNameplates manages it's tags for players... Mayhap that's the reason for Jin's bug?! Hmmmm Also, orbs in DH seemed fine to me I will double check and post back shortly. |

The UI_PlayerFrame (aka the health orb) has a weird white half moon glitch on the right side. The mana orb does not have the issue. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Any idea if you are able to fix the spinning galaxies function? Or not ever? Cos it made the Roth UI unique.
Edit: ok done with adjusting the micromenu and bag bars
