Hello!
Many of you are probably fans of zork's Roth UI! Though he plans no more maintenance to it in Legion, I am here to wipe those tears from your face!
If not, this UI is a complete (or near complete) replacement for the standard Blizzard UI. While some things such as character info screen and menus are not replaced, most of the constantly visible UI elements are.
This will replace your actionbars with a 3-tier stacking set of action bars with a Diablo3 style background, replace the normal WoW actionbar artwork with a Diablo style Angel and Demon, replace the player frame with a set of Health and Power (mana/rage/energy/etc) orbs, and completely re-skin the target, target's target, party, raid, focus, boss and other Unit Frames with Diablo-esque style framework.
It will also replace the standard WoW Rune, Combo Point, Harmony, Soul Shard and Holy Power bars with ones more fitting to the UI's look and feel.
My revival of the UI features constant updating and support, quick reponses to questions and many new/improved features!
Among some of those notable changes are...
1. Raid frames will now track healing abilities!
Priests can easily track Renew, PW:Shield and more, Druids will easily see who has Rejuv and such! Almost exclusively playing a healer has made me tapper this addon back to our needs! Each healer has a variety of abilities they will easily track on the raid frames, and the best part is.. It will only display YOUR buffs, and only for YOUR class!
2. Vertical Party frames!
Many people in the past have disabled the Roth UI party and raid frames due to 3 simple reasons: Lack of customization, lack of buff/debuff tracking for healers and being stuck on those horizontal party frames! But fear not, if you wish to keep those horizontal party frames, there's an option in the config to disable the vertical ones!
3. Independantly movable Raid frames!
One of my biggest issues with the Roth UI raid frames was their clunkyness. It does make setup abit easier, but let's be honest, no one liked moving all the groups in the raid frame at once. Now you get to move them all individually!
4. Health and mana % on target health/power bars, and cur/max for both on the left and right top corners!
I've added a few text strings to the target healthbar, and made it slightly longer by default. This should help you easily tell what % and how much HP a boss has, aswell as making finding healers in BG's a tad bit easier (note: They are the ones with 160k instead of 32k max mana :P)
5. Updated AuraWatch!
This is a rather simple one, the version of Aurawatch used in the last version of Roth UI was rather outdated, i've updated it, and worked with the addon developer directly to incorporate a few new features aswell, special to Roth UI!
There are many many more small changes, as I customized this addon entierly to my playstyle and PC setup (screen size etc). You may find some UI elements too big or small for your liking, or some things in the wrong place. I'm more than happy to help you out by telling you what to edit to get your desired result, but you have to do the work.
Other than bug fixes and major features, I will not update Roth UI simply for things like changing default scale sizes or text string locations.
(This does mean new updates will likely overwrite your changes, though if you are concerned about this, I will provide links to Github commits for each update, so you can see where the changes take place, and protect your precious config.lua settings)
Also note: Between my light raiding schedule, full time work and full time school, I don't have extraordinary amounts of time to work on Roth UI, bug fixes will usually be fixed within a few days of finding them, but new features will not be added for much longer. Some features will not even be considered, such as expanding the /diablo config panel or adding a profile system.
If you have a simple question, I will attempt to get back to you within a day, if not sooner!

Update 2.7.2
I thought I'd already done this, but apparently the upload failed and I kinda forgot to redo it, so these changes are all actually 2 weeks old, oops.
* Apparently Blizzard changed the versioning structure in addon TOC files, RothUI will now use the new versioning system to avoid "Addon out of date" messages. * The ignorable 'warning' error message about the MainMenuBar frame position has been fixed. Note that nothing's actually changed, the 'error' message was completely ignorable and reflected no actual issue, not even sure why they put that error in the game, honestly, but it shouldn't come up anymore. @Avy - You would need to add a line in the addon (i forget where exactly at the moment) to get it to recognize the new font as an option. Alternatively, you can simply name it after one of the already detected ones in the media folder, and replace the current one with the new, renamed one, and the new font will appear upon re-launching the game under the font name you choose to overwrite.

Hi Galaxy, I noticed I was getting a lot of addon errors and realized I had Lua Errors turned off. When I turned them back on, I saw that there were a lot of LUA errors stemming from the Main Menu Bar set point (I had 32 upon reloading my UI).
Code:
Message: Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:2992: Action[SetPoint] failed because[SetPoint would result in anchor family connection]: attempted from: MainMenuBar:SetPoint. Time: Mon Nov 11 14:32:44 2019 Count: 1 Stack: Interface\FrameXML\UIParent.lua:2992: Action[SetPoint] failed because[SetPoint would result in anchor family connection]: attempted from: MainMenuBar:SetPoint. Also I feel like this is a dumb question but do you know where/what handles the fonts under the interface profiles? I want to add a font I would like to use but adding it in the media for Roth UI or the fonts folder for WoW itself doesn't work but the fonts under the config are carried across multiple addons that I use.

I don't even see the raid frame thing in the Interface list unless I put in this code. I haven't been able to fix the Party frames from the addon, but with that code, I can disable the addon and get party and raid frames back now. Thank you. Now my husband can stop screaming at me that I broke his game.
I disabled the raid frame manager and the raid frames. I'll just use base blizz frames for that. *sigh*

Lua Code:
If you want the rothUI party frames, you will need to go into the config.lua file and set the --RAID config option of "showParty" to false, then make sure the "Display raid frames in non-raid group" (or something like that) option in the default blizzard UI settings is unchecked.

UPDATE: I uninstalled and reinstalled WoW on my computer, and I had party frames back before installing any addons. I installed this one and only this one, and my party frames went away. Even after removing the files.
This is a long shot, but I can't think of anything else.... Is there any way this addon could screw with the base unit frames, even after being turned off/files deleted? I was using my husband's computer while mine was in the shop and he doesn't like addons, so I deleted the files after getting mine back... but now he no longer sees party member unit frames. I turned off my addons and it's doing the same. This is the only addon I have that messes with the unit frames.. but I just don't know if this could even cause this issue, because it's not like it's removing any base Blizz files... We even did a file repair and it didn't fix it. Uninstalling and reinstalling appears to have fixed the issue, though.... Like I said.. it's... difficult to think this would do that, since it's not deleting blizzard files, so a complete removal of the roth files should make it fine, right? P.S. The party frames never worked, it defaulted to the raid frames slot. Hoping this finds you in the best, Your devoted follower, Priestess Kitti @;~

Classic!
From here on, all CLASSIC WOW related talks/issues should be directed to the Roth UI classic wow version of this addon, found here:
https://www.wowinterface.com/downloa...lassicWoW.html Anything pertaining to CLASSIC WOW will not be addressed in this addon's thread.

Classic(?)
Good news everyone.
Once I figure out why UnitCastingInfo() isn't working properly, RothUI will have a Classic release.

Re: Re: Version 2.7.1
But it does use the old zork Roth-UI as a base so I could look into it if I have any free time.

Re: Version 2.7.1
https://www.wowinterface.com/downloa...I-RothUID3ROS- (download to the addon) Could you add some sort of way to do this for the resource orb for shadow priests and balance druids? |

Classic Compatibility
Is it possible to just use the orbs and ui graphics in Classic?
I tried using the addon earlier on and it just bugged my entire UI - locked some things across the screen and prevented from editing. Thank you. |

Version 2.7.1
This version should fix the Pet frame error spam Hunters were seeing, aswell as the general MainMenuBar frame error spam everyone else was seeing.
I'm still not really working on RothUI outside of bug fixes, if anyone has any ideas they want to add, I'll gladly take pull requests on the addon's github, for now my main focus remains on my SCP:SL communities server plugins and such, got over 1,000 members and I can hardly keep up with their requests xD
