Actually currently in development. So... just wait.

This is my personal UI, you can, however, suggest or report bugs on Github.
But beware, it is not guaranteed I will implement new features I personally not use or need.

Also, the config of this UI is Lua based, so you need some small basic knowledge if you want to change things.

Important Information
  • I will try to help with errors and simple modifications.
  • I will not help with greater modifications or custom edits.
  • It's not allowed to upload and/or distribute modified versions of my UI without my permission. Doesn't matter if it's an old layout or the current.

Since rActionBar is writing SavedVariables, you need to reload UI and then do /rabs reset to reset the position.

By the way, what is the name of that texture you're using on target unitframes? I'm trying to add it to SharedMedia in order to make use of it in Skada and BigWigs but I can't seem to find the right one. Could you please tell me the name and where the file is at?

Its the statusbar3.tga file inside AddOns\oUF_Lyn\textures in case anyone else is interested. Thank you, eiszeit! I'm loving the UI. Really appreciate all the work you have put into it and thank you for the help!

In order to add raid frames. Is it possible to simply add a unitspecific.raid and an entry in the Factory function? (in lyn.lua from oUF_Lyn).

Trying to extend the party to 25 players in principle.

Love the UI so far, the simplicity is amazing. The party frames, the minimap, everything.. it just fits together nicely.

Even with the nerfed CVchars i think this will be my main UI aslong as you are maintaining it

Hey there, love the look of this UI so thanks! I'm completely new to LUA and I would love it if you could point me to what to change to make the first action bar spots without assigned abilities disappear like they do on the second action bar.

First of all .. awesome UI.
Been enjoying it alot so far.

There seems to be an issue on my hunter though were the pet health bar doesnt seem to update.
Anything I can do to fix it ?

I may change the look and position of the unit frames in a couple of updates.
Not with the next, but somewhere in near future ... because I realized it isn't as practical as I thought it would be.

I've been messing around with the UI a bit and I noticed that the target unitframes do not show information such as health points or health percentange when not fighting an enemy. Could you point me in the right direction as to what I need to edit to make sure the HP and HPP values on target frames are always visible, even outside of combat, just like on the player frames? I ask because it's usefull to know how much HP an NPC has before you engage it. It's usually how I determine if I can burst dps an elite mob down before it kills me when I'm solo.

This is what I'm referring to, btw:


PS. In case anyone is wondering why so few action buttons: most of my abilities are on bars that stay hidden unless I mouseover them. I only like to see the main rotational abilities and cds. Plus, I know what ability each and every keybind I press fires so there's really no need for me to see 30 buttons when only a handfull of them really needs to be used on cooldown/requires my attention.

For percent: tags.lua, line 149, just remove the if then else and always return the value.

For the specific value: tags.lua, line 103, remove "or min == max" inside the if statement.

Let me try to clarify the question as I'm pretty sure I know what AdjutantVox's problem is as I'm also currently looking for a way to fix it.

This is what the action bars look like if a slot is empty by default (minus the keybindings):


As this tends to look awkward with the way the unit frame is set up, the default interface has the option to display an empty button for an empty action bar slot. This would look like this:


The setting is "Always Show ActionBars":


The problem now is that this only works for Bars 2-5 and not Bar 1 (also not the Pet Bar for that matter).

I believe the root of the problem to be that the default interface only needs to show the empty slot backdrop on Bars 2-5 as the impression of empty slot backdrops for Bar 1 is always present through the bottom bar art (the one with the 2 gryphons), so the default UI never bothers to display the backdrop for empty slots on Bar 1.

But it is probably up to zork to fix this, as this seems like a thing to be handled in rActionBars or rButtonTemplate directly.

That is because Blizzard is hiding the grid for the first bar. Even if you enable always show actionbars. Just put a spell/macro into that slot.
