Are you using weak auras by some chance?
The ones built-in, are positioned there and should be there all the time as they are built in to let you keep an eye on cooldowns and special abilities. I don't even notice them unless I'm specifically looking for something.

So last night while running some Mythic + I noticed something strange happening every now and then. In the middle of the dungeon I would see rows of random class abilities around the party frames and above my action bars. It had paladin abilities, warrior, shaman. I could not click them but there they were. A /reload ui would get rid of them. But on the next dungeon they would appear again. When using the party bars for click casting it got in the way of party frames. When it happens again I will grab a screengrab of it. Has this happened to anyone else?

I and the Author of tomcat's tours have been working on the problem and came up with this solution.

Use of UpdateAddOnMemoryUsage() excessively, especially when the player uses a lot of memory within their addons, will cause the game to pause momentarily every time it is called

So after working hard all day and re-enabling all info bar and turning them off one at a time, I found that the memory was the one causing the problem. With that disabled, everything works perfectly.

I have always had trouble with in-game pauses or short freezes if you like.
This UI and most others are the same and found after a couple of years of searching and finding no answers and been at a loss.
I remember years ago data bars eg fubar titan chocolate bar so on causing this problem so today I decided
to look into it in the UI and went into the Lua and changed the setting for the info bar from true to false and did that that all of them, so no data texts on the top are showing and to my surprise the freezing and short pauses, have disappeared and I can enjoy the UI as it was pissing me off big time.

Only data bar addon that I have found not causing this problem ever is that Xiv data bar

I had posted my problem here ages ago and no one else seemed to have the problem or answered back.

I see heaps of people posting on forums this so-called pause freeze problem and no one has given them answers.
Anyway thought i would post my solution just in case others have this problem. message me and i can tell you how to fix it.
To the author, if you have people telling you they are getting lag in-game please try disabling the info bar's module from true to false and see if it works as I suspect it will.

Yes right-click minimap than click 2ui and go into misc tab in there you will see follow cursor untick it problem solved.

First off, thank you! this is such an amazing compilation of addons. You did a wonderful job. I was wondering if there was a way to anchor the tooltip so it does not hover where my mouse is. It gets in the way of action. I have the setting for disable while in combat on, but it is not working, still blocks my screen. Any help is appreciated.

Go into the 2ui menu and under the skins tab go down the bottom and under the numeration tab hit the standard
