Thank you so much for this! I've been using this UI since it's birth, and find it very, very difficult trying to get used to using anything else. Hopefully Mung will come back soon and gift us all with updates to this UI. And as said, if you can, please donate something to Mung for sharing this wonderful UI with all of us. It truly is a work of art.

I've found the offending code but not been able to reproduce the conditions for this bug myself (I can see in the code why it happens, but not how it happens)

Could you download my fixes from: https://github.com/joev/SVUI-Temp and see if that sorts this problem out?

Hi folks,

I'm a recent convert to SVUI but I just adore it. As I've been running it I've started to fix up some of the bugs (currently only some minor irritations but starting to get my head around the code base).

I thought I'd make my fixes available until Munglunch/failcoder gets back online (here's hoping that's soon and whatever is keeping him away is nothing serious) and volunteer to try (and I stress *try*) to fix some of the more pressing issues making it unusable for some people. Can't guarantee I'll be able to do so, just offering to help.

There's not much different from vanilla SVUI at present basically because for some reason I've not had that many problems except the nameplates one (which I haven't fixed as Steve says he was planning a rewrite) and the garrison docklet tooltip problem which I've fixed for myself. Oh, and added Dalaran Heartstone and Dreamfall to the Hearthstone docklet... (happy to add any others if someone gives me a list).

As I say, Willing to fix issues (if I can) but I just ask that you: (a) Post the issue on GitHub so I get to manage it there. (b) Give me as much info as you can about what's happening when issues occur - i.e. just saying "it's broken" and giving me a dump of the error is likely not enough for someone who's a novice in this codebase (though I'm experienced at WoW mod coding).

Happy to take pull requests from other contributors too - I'm sure there are far cleverer (is that a word?) people than I patching up issues in their local SVUIs than I.

Also: Urge you to donate to Munglunch! This is a truly phenomenal piece of work Mung has done for the community and, notwithstanding his current absence, he's done an amazing job almost completely solo for ages. Pay him back for the joy he's given us

mine are all visible, toggle the settings for player and target. see whats checked under buffs/debuffs.

Come back? Does anyone know what?
There are so many bugs. And any updates / Fix.

My reputation bar is missing from the docks on my warrior, the only thing different is I gained fishing reputation with new legion guy. I get this popping up when I log in or reloadui with warrior.

Hmm. I'm seeing nothing on my Disc priest. Even PW:Shield isn't showing. I mean the little squares inside the unitframe in the corner, with the clock timer thing on them.

So you just overwrote svui stuff with elvui stuff? Did it change anything aesthetically? Or just fix some issues?

Care to elaborate on which ones?

Edit: nm after reading Seems u installed it and ran it separately and allowed you to see your bars again. Not sure if there's a relation, to what degree, or if it would do anything for any of the major bugs present atm.

I'm amazed mung is willing to ignore this thread and his Ui. Doesn't compute for me. Unless he died

His Twitter hasn't had a post in ages. His website is down. I'm beginning to wonder. Let's be honest - who nowadays doesn't have a smart phone?

Maybe he became a religious zealot and is on a mission in the jungles of Africa bringing shoes to jungle people?

My UI started to mess up and the "Name plates" where GONE fresh install etc didn't bring them back..so i started using another UI well today i thought to myself after reading some comments lets give it a try. An what i did FIXED IT temp but FIXED brought my UI bars back. I downloaded a copy of the up most dated Evil UI and put it in my wow folder loaded up wow turned OFF evil UI from my addons button inside the game and just kept super on well its working so somewhere in the code Evil UI needs to be updated on his UI for it to work correctly again. Its worth a try if u have any other problems

I agree about letting us know. People have supported him for years and still want to use it so at least pass it on to someone if he's washing his hands of it.

Either way it's the right thing to do to make contact regardless of how brief.

I wish I could just Change to elvui but preference and aesthetics aside, I've been using this for so long now coupled with the amount of work and time I put in to getting the Ui set up "just" right that re doing it all again for elvui makes me queasy.

If I could transfer my settings somehow I'd already be gone but I digress.

Yeah I've been thinking something has happened and pulled him away from the game IRL or he's playing the shit out of new xpac and not using his own ui (doubt it lol). Either way he hasn't responded to me via here or email and normally does
I think a heads up would be nice and the right thing to do though either way. It only takes a moment to type a couple words and let a few thousand fans know what's going on lol! Until then I'm just back on ElvUI because this one was giving me some errors that were really messing up the game for me

They work per say - but a lot of custom settings won't take or are ignored and things often shift.

In short - the Ui is broken in dozens of ways.

Someone that knows lua needs to help us out here. Not holding my breath on mung anymore. Obviously isn't playing or using his own Ui anymore
