SixUI  Updated this week!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 11.0.16
by: Sixthly [More]

SixUI
SixUI provides a minimal design with pixel-perfect borders accross all UI scales and screen sizes, with support for skinning Blizzard's HUD and many third-party AddOns. It does not skin Blizzard's dialogs and windows, which is an intentional design choice. The following layouts are included:

- Standard: Designed for playing with an MMO mouse, featuring Naga-style action bars.
- Damage: Designed for playing with a keyboard.
- Minimal: Designed for playing with a WeakAuras pack that replaces action bars.
Features
- Easy to install and update.
- Edit Mode compatibility.
- Layouts for damage and healing roles.
- LibDataBroker compatibility with many included plugins.
- Pixel perfect, customizable borders.
- Skinned Blizzard action bars, auras, chat frame, and minimap.
- Skinning support for many third-party AddOns.
- Some basic quality of life automations.
Instructions
- Install SixUI and any supported or suggested AddOns you are interested in.
- Log in to your character.
- When SixUI's setup frame opens, review the changes and click "Apply All."

Q: How can I move or resize my raid frames?
A: Go to SixUI > Raid Frames and customize the position and size of your raid frames based on the group size.

Q: How can I adjust the visibility of my action bars?
A: Go to SixUI > Blizzard > Action Bars and modify or delete the state text for each action bar you want to adjust.

Q: How can I turn off sounds for new whispers and guild messages?
A: Go to SixUI > Blizzard > Chat Frame and uncheck the Message Sounds option.

A: To add custom categories, type a category name inside parentheses in a friend's note. For example, "(Keystones)" or "Ben (Keystones)".

11.0.16
  • Add hints to tooltips. Hints can be disabled in each display's
    context menu.
  • Add more localization strings.
  • Display Durability: Show item level when durability is high (80%).
The display mode and item level source can be configured in the
    display's context menu.
  • Display Guild: Add a list of communities to the context menu.
  • Display History: Replace the secondary tooltip with a context
    menu.
  • Display Valor: Track Gilded Harbinger Crests instead of Valor.
  • Integration Skada: Add a migration for importing SixUI's
    profile.
  • Integration Skada: Resolve an issue where windows could have empty
    space.
  • Resolve an issue where a display could sometimes be missing its
    border.
  • Resolve an issue where action buttons were sometimes not fully
    skinned.
  • Resolve an issue where Grid2 had a visible black border.
  • Resolve an issue where the Edit Mode layout could desync when
    changing specialization.

Known Issues:
  • The "Objective Tracker Auto-Collapse" aura is blocking interactions
with quest items directly from the objective tracker.

Hey, the UI sets the font size to 13 which isn't a standard option. However, if you type /rl into chat then the UI should set the font size again.

action bars

Recently updated Masque and Domino's and i'm not sure if that had anything to do with it.
My action bars don't have the border around them and they dont show hidden buttons like they would on, even though the option is checked.

https://i.imgur.com/t94CnNy.png

was wondering if it was just something the addon messed up or if the options were changed and if there was a way to get them back

Hey guys, thank you for the support. I'll be releasing a new version of SixUI for 8.2.5 within the next few days.

Action bars are gone

This is a cool looking UI, but I can't get it to work for the life of me. The action bars are completely invisible and gone. I can move my mouse down along the bottom of the screen and my cursor will show a spell tooltip if it falls on one, but I cannot make the bars or my action buttons show.

Completely unusable, shame because this looked like a clear winner

Thank you for the report - it looks like one of the rules in the new build script was causing some necessary files to be excluded from the release package. This has been fixed in SixUI 8.2.2.

Disable ctrl for toggling UI

Hey man,

i absolutely love your UI. Just one thing really bothers me, i want to deactivate the ctrl for all the UI toggling things like keys on the action bar, classes on vuhdo and stuff. Is there a possibility for that? And If not, is there at least a way to put it on another key? I got heal bindings on ctrl, and they always trigger the interface toggle.

Hey, run the following from your chat box to disable UI toggling:

Code:
/run SixUI[1]:DisableModule("Miscellaneous Clutter")
And to enable it again:

Code:
/run SixUI[1]:EnableModule("Miscellaneous Clutter")

Some bugs

A few things might be nice to change if you'd like to consider.

1) When in a pet battle the minimap is hidden by the game. The SixUI minimap frame and clock as well as display group 2 show. It would be cleaner to hide these.

2) Also in full screen map these same frames should hide if you can or change the frame level? I don't know if you can but the blackout frame is down at low, and your frames are at high, but I don't think you can drop them below low and still show correctly normally when the full screen map is closed?

3) And lastly, the PVP flag capture bar under the minimap overlaps with display group 2 (e.g. in Eye of the Storm). This pairs to the UIWidgetBelowMinimapContainerFrame and probably just needs dropped down a bit or moved maybe to the top center of the screen below where the scores in PVP are usually. I call out what it binds to as maybe other things also overlap that use that frame as a reference in the default UI.

One possible bug report, but I think it's just updates but Bagnon isn't loading at the moment, not sure if its SixUI or Facade or something else.
