SixUI

SixUI provides a minimal design with pixel-perfect borders accross all UI scales and screen sizes, with support for skinning Blizzard's HUD and many third-party AddOns. It does not skin Blizzard's dialogs and windows, which is an intentional design choice. The following layouts are included:

- Standard: Designed for playing with an MMO mouse, featuring Naga-style action bars.
- Damage: Designed for playing with a keyboard.
- Minimal: Designed for playing with a WeakAuras pack that replaces action bars.

Instructions

- Install SixUI and any supported or suggested AddOns you are interested in.
- Log in to your character.
- When SixUI's setup frame opens, review the changes and click "Apply All."

FAQ

Q: How can I update SixUI?
A: You can update SixUI by using any AddOn manager that supports the CurseForge API.

Q: How can I move or resize my raid frames?
A: Go to SixUI > Raid Frames and customize the position and size of your raid frames based on the group size.

Q: How can I adjust the visibility of my action bars?
A: Go to SixUI > Blizzard > Action Bars and modify or delete the state text for each action bar you want to adjust.

Q: How can I turn off sounds for new whispers and guild messages?
A: Go to SixUI > Blizzard > Chat Frame and uncheck the Message Sounds option.

Q: How can I turn off SixUI’s borders on WeakAuras?
A: Go to SixUI > AddOns > WeakAuras and uncheck the Enabled option.

Q: How can I add third-party plugins to the chat frame and minimap?
A: SixUI now supports LibDataBroker. To add third-party plugins, go to SixUI > Displays and configure them there.

Q: How can I add custom categories to the friends tooltip?
A: To add custom categories, type a category name inside parentheses in a friend's note. For example, "(Keystones)" or "Ben (Keystones)".

Add hints to tooltips. Hints can be disabled in each display's
context menu.
Add more localization strings.
Display Durability: Show item level when durability is high (80%).
The display mode and item level source can be configured in the
display's context menu.
Display Guild: Add a list of communities to the context menu.
Display History: Replace the secondary tooltip with a context
menu.
Display Valor: Track Gilded Harbinger Crests instead of Valor.
Integration Skada: Add a migration for importing SixUI's
profile.
Integration Skada: Resolve an issue where windows could have empty
space.
Resolve an issue where a display could sometimes be missing its
border.
Resolve an issue where action buttons were sometimes not fully
skinned.
Resolve an issue where Grid2 had a visible black border.
Resolve an issue where the Edit Mode layout could desync when
changing specialization.

Known Issues:

The "Objective Tracker Auto-Collapse" aura is blocking interactions
with quest items directly from the objective tracker.

More annoying: If you have open the bags and then you open the spellbook, use disenchanting it doesn't work. Wow tells that the task sixui use is only available for Blizzard and if you want to ignore or deactivate. After ignoring nothing happens but if you deactivate the look of the ui is completely destroyed, even after reactivating all addons. Edit: The problem with the missing frame is solved after restarting wow. Last edited by high55555 : 12-22-14 at 10:08 PM.

Are you serious? VuhDo allows more customization as every other raidframe. I use SixUI only because it uses Vuhdo. What do you prefer?

And of course it is not a problem. Deactivate Vuhdo and configure the raidframe of your choice instead of Vuhdo.

I can totally agree on you with this, Im using sixui as I like the way it is aligned. I only find the chat a bit to big, with the bar below it.

I've tried going into the LUA configuration of SixUI but I can't get really figure anything out of it.

I originally designed the user interface without the permanent bar below the chat box; it would only be visible when typing in the chat edit box. This way, the chat box aligns with the bar below the Minimap.

The trouble with changing this now is Skada. The two Skada displays align with the permanent bar, and they show 5 bars (each) simultaneously which is enough for an entire dungeon group's damage or raid's healing team. Otherwise, I would consider making the chat box shorter or removing the permanent bar.

The layout can be modified in SixUI.xml.

The sounds can be disabled by removing the line "Modules\Chat\Sounds.lua" from SixUI.toc.
