Please Read The Entire Description
NOTE: The screenshots do not do it justice, you have to see it in game for yourself. Most of the noticable features won't show up in screenshots, I'm not sure why yet.
WHAT IS ENB:
ENBSeries is a graphic modifications project for games. The main idea is to allow every gamer to configure how their game will look with their own style, so every player could share settings with others. Many games may look much better and ENBSeries is the easiest way to improve them.
This particular ENB is a modification of the GTA4 ENB from the main website, the URL is located below.
FEATURES:
1) No game specific tools needed.
2) Small size of the modification.
3) Easy to install and uninstall.
4) No problems with banning in multiplayer games.
5) Easy to share configurations with others.
6) Controlled quality for optimal performance on your hardware.
7) Other graphical modifications can be used together with ENBSeries, with exceptions within common sense and LUA.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONALITY:
If you have low FPS even though your pc should be able to handle it, try SHIFT+F10 which will optimize the features to best support your FPS, after activating the mod using SHIFT+F12. SHIFT+F9 enables or disables the bloom.
FUNCTIONALITY UPDATE:
You can now re-map the keys needed to turn on and off settings, and you can now limit your FPS via the enbseres.ini file.
Under [INPUT] in the "enbseries.ini" file you will find the following:
You can use these lines in the file to change to your desired keys to use. "f12, f11, f10 and f9" are set by default. Just replace with your choice.
//f12 KeyUseEffect=123 //f11 KeyBloom=120 //f10 KeyOcclusion=121 //f9 KeyFPSLimit=36 |
FPSLimit=60.0 |
UseEffect=0 |
UseEffect=1 |
Jay Wilson, Blizzard Entertainment Game Director: TOS against mods is so we can ban cheaters. I agree DarkD3 is not a cheat...yet. As long as it is not a cheat, no ban is likely. |

Re: The ENB doesn't seem to work with MOP
Not sure, I don't have that problem. Are you sure you installed it correctly? If I press Shift+F12 it disables it for me, and it's on by default. You should see a difference. I have a new update coming soon though, I might push out the update early, without the new features. But some people will be mad about that. A lot of folks want an DX11 and 64-bit client version that works. I am working on that and it's almost done, and it does work, but I am not doing it alone.
Other ENB authors that know more than me are assisting me with it. The problem is the standard d3d9 file isn't enough, it has to have a few extra dxi file types that have to do with DX11 and 64-bit. There is an author of an ENB originally designed for Skyrim, but works with WoW and other games, I am talks with him about including his into this for those that want to use my ENB wth DX11 and 64-bit client. Stay tuned, if you are patient, you will have a working version. Just make sure you follow the instructions. Make sure everything is installed correctly. Soon the installation process may change a little, due to an FX Shading folder that has to be added, as well as a few extra file types. Essentially it'll still do the same thing, but more things, and more efficiently as well as working on different client and DX versions that it never worked with before.
Yes they do. A lot of featurs from ENB can't yet be used with WoW. But I am working on a new release here soon that should have a more cleaned up code, and should feature a few new things it can do for WoW, as well as a sharpening tool which I'm going to combine with this. So that you get sharpening, and a pop in graphics glow like it already provides alone. ENB's are also kind of annoying, considering it's tough to get them to work with DX11 and 64-bit clients. But I think I got it working in the next version, so stay tuned if you want to check that out. Sorry for the late reply, I had been very busy. I'm working on this, plus many other addons and building my own User Interface from scratch using what I learned from FreeUI, Neav UI, Elv UI and TukUI. It'll be mostly my own code though, and any code that isn't mine will be referenced.

ENB+FXAA
There's a different version here. Do the DLL files differ, or can I just get the latest version for Skyrim and mess with the .INI ?
Nevermind, I tried it but didn't work. I don't see any difference at all!

UPDATE
I found a temporary way to make the ENB work with DirectX 11 now. I downloaded and installed the TweakWoW addon, and used it to switch to DX11 from DX9 in a drop down box feature part of the addon, and it refreshed the UI, and some other game parts and allowed DirectX 11 to function with it. I didn't get a performance hit with it, in fact in increase my performance by a couple of FPS as soon as I changed it.
You can get TweakWoW here: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...-TweakWoW.html Note: This is early, I'm not positive that this is working, but it seems as if it is. You can try for yourself and see if it works for you. |

I believe this is the latest:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3988300405 The 64bit client downloads are located in a sticky thread in the Battle.net WoW Technical Support forums. |

I understand. I don't have the 64bit client, I'd like to get it, I'm just not sure how. I have a 64bit OS. If I could get the client, I can do my best to make it work with it. It might take awhile though as I'm still learning this project as I go along.
The feedback helps me understand what needs to change and what doesn't. Which is why this is in Beta right now. When I finally release it out of beta, then I will have enough knowledge by then to maintain the project and fix any bugs and issues that might arise in the future, as of right now it's tough to do for me, but I won't give up. I will keep everyone updated via comments here, if I figure anything out. That way, when I learn, you learn. I will update the description with this information, so new users will understand.

UPDATE
Good news Haleth, and everyone else interested in this. I had figured out how to get the mod to be on by default.
Because it's beta, and people might prefer to turn it on themselves and have full control over that, for now I'll just add it as an option to change yourself in the enbseries.ini file. In the enbseries.ini file, look for the following under the [Global] section:
Note: This also seems to fix the problem I was experiencing with it where if you alt-tab out of the game and come back, the mod wouldn't be working and you'd have to re-activate it. With this setting changed in the enbseries.ini file, it will re-activate on it's own.

I've used the ENB series of mods in several games (VTM: Bloodlines, Fallout: New Vegas, TES5: Skyrim, and they are of top notch quality. Nothing to fear from them. I'm bummed to hear it's not working with the x64 client, as I get huge performance gains using it. I would love to put some of that extra performance to use.

The files are definitely installed correctly as the 32bit client works with the mod/shows the ENBSeries text on launch. The 64bit client just doesn't work at all. Edit: I have also noticed while using the "Fullscreen" graphics option the toggle resets when alt-tabbing. This doesn't happen with "Windowed" or "Fullscreen-Windowed", but the effect needs to be re-toggled when swapping viewing modes (which isn't a big deal). This is really gorgeous, DX11 support would be amazing, but I'm much more interested in this working with the 64bit client version (for whatever reason, the 32bit client kills my fps - even without this tweak).

As of right now I'm not sure how, but I'm working on it as it's something I also want.
Once I figure it out, I'll mention it and update the page.
