Quse Stream
This UI is meant to be as minimal, low memory and CPU usage as possible while maintaining a full compliment of features.
Supports all resolutions, aspect ratios and almost all languages/client localizations.
Having some knowledge of .lua - or the willingness to mess around with it - is recommended, most addons are configured in .lua.
I have included it with some basic spells for some classes but is mostly barebone.
Please open the SETTINGS.LUA file to add your own spells, all classes have template locations that fit the UI.
HOW TO:
* See Change Log for a full list of changes (please read it!) *
Fresh installations are always recommended!
Installation is a breeze; no WTF folders to rename, no hoops to jump through, no bears to wrastle.
- Back-up your Interface and Fonts folder (if you have a Fonts folder. If you don't have one, don't worry).
- Copy the contents of the QuseUI zip file into your World of Warcraft folder and launch your game client.
- Ensure out of date addons are enabled.
- Once in game, type "/install" and accept.
- Bananas!
Features
*Low memory and CPU *
*Easy Installation*
*Complete "out-of-the-box" support for all classes/specs*
*Healer and DPS raid frame layouts*
(see screenshots)
Raid Frame Indicators
*Note*
Earth Shield, PoM, and Lifebloom
indicators change color based on stack count.
FOR FONT REPLACEMENT:
Font = Pixel Font, 8pt
Font2 = Tooltip Font
FCT = Floating Combat Text
To replace fonts in-game:
- Place your desired font into the "Interface\addons\sharedmedia\fonts" folder and rename to the font you'd like to change.
To replace fonts that appear on the loading screen, chat window, etc...
- Copy your desired font into the "Fonts" folder in your Warcraft folder and rename to the appropriate names present in that folder (skurri, ARIALN__, etc...)
FOR BOSS MOD STYLING:
- Download the file located HERE
Follow the instructions on the download page.
Recommended:
- oUF_MovableFrames, by Haste. If lua editing isn't for you and default frame locations aren't your cup of tea, oUF_MovableFrames will allow you to drag and drop locations.
- Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt
Vital if you'd like to keep the sleek square outline look for non-skinned icons. Not included in this download due to its size; some people may or may not care to include it.
TO DO:
- Set up sFilter for new abilities and adjust location (currently not included in package).
- Finish adjusting raid indicator texts and boss debuffs.
ADDON LIST
* Indicates .lua configuration
DO NOT update addons in this interface, many have been modified by myself in one way or another.
Updating addons will break the layout/look/intended functionality of the addon in the interface!

Re: Great UI!
Minimap: - Open Wanderlust folder and the lua file inside. Set the parents/coords to TOPRIGHT. - Since you moved the map, you'll have to move the buffs. -- This means opening "core.lua" in the nBuff folder and editing the placement/parenting of the TEMP ENCHANT FRAME to the minimap. Quest Tracker: - Open "config.lua" in nibWatchFrameAdv and change the the "enabled=true" to false (it's like, the 3rd line). - Since you moved the quest tracker you'll want to move BigWigs/DBM timer bars (if you use them) since they'll overlap. Tooltip: - Open "tip.lua" in the Freebtip folder. Change the BOTTOMLEFT's in "point = { "BOTTOMLEFT", "BOTTOMLEFT", 16, 230}," to BOTTOMRIGHT's. - Since you moved the tooltip, if you use the DPS layout in Grid2 or track the Raid CD's with alRaidCD you'll need to move those. I'm also pretty sure they'll overlap the Boss frames included in oUF which means you'll need to adjust their placement in "cfg.lua" in the oUF_NIN folder. Kind of a pain in the butt, not too bad if you're willing to spend the time/know your way around lua a little bit. Oh, you can add bindings to the hotbars by opening "cfg.lua" in the m_Actionbars folder and search for "cfg.hide_hotkey = true." Set it to false and voila - although, I don't know how ugly it will look =| |

Open the file called "core.lua" in oUF_NIN folder (you will need notepad or a lua editor). - Search for "Aura Icon" (will be line 981). - Highlight everything down to where you see "Eclipse Bar" (line 1131). - Hit delete, and save your file. If you want to look at what you're deleting it is literally every aura icon for every frame used by oUF (Target, Focus, Player). If you'd like to see the focus debuffs, just don't delete their little snippet of code (line 1021 to 1103). |

Great UI!
Hey Qupe! I love your UI, it's great! However I would like to make it more comfortable for myself. Is it possible to move the minimap, quest display/objectives thing, and the box that shows up whenever you mouse over an object/player/spell to the right side of the screen? If this is possible that will be great!
Another small thing as well. Is it possible to show the key binding on the buttons in the action bars? Not that big of a deal but I like them there. Thanks for making such a great UI! -Gearz337 |

Re: Re: Boss buffs not showing their stack
No. What I meant is the boss's own buff. Check out Absorbed Blood on wowhead. I can't post hyper links here

Boss buffs not showing their stack
Hi,
I gave it a try this morning and managed to get everything work except that some of the buffs on raid bosses are not showing their stacks. Such as the Absorbed Blood on Corrupted Blood, the buff icon was grey and no stack number was shown. Any chance I can modify this? Since there are some buffs on bosses that's important to keep track of their stacks. |

hi
I love your interface compilation and I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate your hard work configuring everything and maintaining it.
If I could just comment on one thing I would say that the overall 'text' size could be a little bit bigger to make things easier to read but of course everyone has their own preferences. As a side question - What is the addon or whatnot that causes a large icon to flash in the middle of a screen after it comes off cooldown? The very brief large icon 'pulse' if you will. And sorry if this has been asked before but the "Butsu" configuration keeps resetting to default when I reload interface - any idea why?

Holy cow, feels like I've been gone for days!
Just a general warning, though: you'll have to do a bit of dragging/editing since the UI is meant for the scale I've set.

Hi,
Recent adoptee (?) of this great UI I was just hoping to get some help regarding the bars if possible. Basically I am trying to get the micromenu (the menu one with toon buttons etc) to be stack on top of the the three bars at the bottom. However I only want it to be visible when I scroll over it with my mouse and have it hide during combat or when not moused over. I tryed to adjust the lua code and got the following so far: Code:
cfg.config_micromenu = { --[[hide bar:]] true, --[[show on mouseover:]] true, --[[show when in combat:]] false, --[[scale:]] 0.85, ["Position"] = { a= "BOTTOM", x= 0, y= 116 } What am I doing wrong here? Any ideas? |
