Quse Stream
This UI is meant to be as minimal, low memory and CPU usage as possible while maintaining a full compliment of features.
Supports all resolutions, aspect ratios and almost all languages/client localizations.
Having some knowledge of .lua - or the willingness to mess around with it - is recommended, most addons are configured in .lua.
I have included it with some basic spells for some classes but is mostly barebone.
Please open the SETTINGS.LUA file to add your own spells, all classes have template locations that fit the UI.
HOW TO:
* See Change Log for a full list of changes (please read it!) *
Fresh installations are always recommended!
Installation is a breeze; no WTF folders to rename, no hoops to jump through, no bears to wrastle.
- Back-up your Interface and Fonts folder (if you have a Fonts folder. If you don't have one, don't worry).
- Copy the contents of the QuseUI zip file into your World of Warcraft folder and launch your game client.
- Ensure out of date addons are enabled.
- Once in game, type "/install" and accept.
- Bananas!
Features
*Low memory and CPU *
*Easy Installation*
*Complete "out-of-the-box" support for all classes/specs*
*Healer and DPS raid frame layouts*
(see screenshots)
Raid Frame Indicators
*Note*
Earth Shield, PoM, and Lifebloom
indicators change color based on stack count.
FOR FONT REPLACEMENT:
Font = Pixel Font, 8pt
Font2 = Tooltip Font
FCT = Floating Combat Text
To replace fonts in-game:
- Place your desired font into the "Interface\addons\sharedmedia\fonts" folder and rename to the font you'd like to change.
To replace fonts that appear on the loading screen, chat window, etc...
- Copy your desired font into the "Fonts" folder in your Warcraft folder and rename to the appropriate names present in that folder (skurri, ARIALN__, etc...)
FOR BOSS MOD STYLING:
- Download the file located HERE
Follow the instructions on the download page.
Recommended:
- oUF_MovableFrames, by Haste. If lua editing isn't for you and default frame locations aren't your cup of tea, oUF_MovableFrames will allow you to drag and drop locations.
- Clean Icons - Thin, by Suicidalkatt
Vital if you'd like to keep the sleek square outline look for non-skinned icons. Not included in this download due to its size; some people may or may not care to include it.
TO DO:
- Set up sFilter for new abilities and adjust location (currently not included in package).
- Finish adjusting raid indicator texts and boss debuffs.

- OmniCC is causing the pie to be darker (if it actually does), I think you can turn off the pie in OmniCC options. If you disable OmniCC completely you won't see cooldown numbers on your hotbars. - Damage meter sometimes bugs out, type /rl if it's only showing your dps and no one else. Waiting for the official updated release of it.

I see, I decided to keep those files in Buttons folder, felt good after all. How ever I found some other files (after 30min) that I removed so it's just ****ing perfect now! http://i.imgur.com/UUvCV.jpg
*I have 3 small questions though. First of all this blue text that keeps coming in the middle of the screen, what is that? *When a spell is on cd, you get this pie / spin / cooldown indicator on the icon. I'd like to have it less transparent, as in default? Is that also something in that Button folder perhaps? And last but not least, the damage meter only appears to be showing my own damage. While it's okay if it's unfixable, is there a way to show other players? Ty |

Wow, that's pretty damn sweet. So what you're saying is that if I use the SnifflesInstaller, I can save my own settings and log an alt and type /install, just like I did with /reflux switch QuseUI?
So to use it, I just take the code from all .lua files from \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\*******\SavedVariables and put it in that file, with like 1 space in between each copy, yeah? And what about the other .lua in the SavedVariables in \World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\*******\SavedVariables\Realm\Character\SavedVariables Also, while in the SnifflesInstaller, can I put "-- AddOn Name" in between as well incase I do change something later on. Like, to find the specific addons code easier. Last but not least, thanks a lot for the barfix, kinda expected it to me in there but had no idea which file.

Go to Interface folder, then open the Buttons folder and delete/rename the file called "CheckButtonHilight.blp." You'll be able to see that highlight on any unskinned bar (you will still not have one with the rActionButton skin I'm using). Also, worth mentioning, the only files that will revert to default when you type /install are addons with WTF values. These addons are: !ClassColors, DBM, BigWigs, gxCooldowns, ItemTooltipCleaner, MyBuffz, OmniCC, xanAchievementMover and xanErrorMonster. Anything you changed in .LUA in the AddOns folder won't be modified. Another thing you could do is add your WTF changes to your addons to the SnifflesInstaller addon I have (which does the /install feature) by following these directions: http://www.wowinterface.com/download...Installer.html

Hm, I see. I still have that issue with the buttons as explained before on my Bartender4, with rActionButton/BarStyler disabled in AddOns though. Downloading Masque atm to see if things changed, altho I'd prefer having the blizz default for my bars.
As for profiling, wont /install put QuseUI to it's default state, as shown in the screenshots? As I wrote earlier I've rearranged stuff, would suck if everything returns to default positions. But if that is the case, I believe WTF copying would do the trick, for alts?

http://www.wowinterface.com/download...ler.html#other The "Other Files" section has various skins. You can also just search "rActionButton" and they'll show up in the search list. |

Okay, fair enough. I guess the current skin is rActionButtonStyler?
And I see, nice. Thanks for the help! |

The new version of QuseUI makes it simpler; when you log in type /install and it makes the WTF files for you (so you don't have to do the annoying renaming of folders). But that only works for addons I included, if you want settings from addons you use that I don't include, you'll have to copy the WTF folder. |

I see, thanks a lot. I'll have the bar changed after the beta raid =/ As for the actionbuttons, shouldn't it be possible to turn that off? Or delete some file or w/e?
Also, I'm currently making this UI on an external hardrive if something would go wrong. I guess I'll just copy the interface+WTF to my other WoW directory as well as copying the WTF for alts etc? Afaik it was /reflux switch QuseUI back in the days which I've been using but no as that's gone, I guess I just copy them over? Ty
