Edit: Okay, that was dumb of me. I figured it out how to move around the Skada thing (didn't realize the window was locked). But, for some reason, everytime I reload the ui, the bars go back to the default position and size, and idea how to change this? Although, its not really necessary, neither is the chat frame thing. Edit: Okay, this is what I got it to look like (for some reason, the text wont stretch all the way to the end of the chat window like it did your upload, but it doesn't look like it'll that big of an issue. I tried to get everything as symmetrical as I could. Only thing I'm wondering is if its possible to make it so that the bag addon will stop resetting every UI reload, that way certain currencies can be disabled, and will stay like that. Anyway, here's what it looks like (with ui scaling off): http://i.imgur.com/JdCDz.jpg And here are the updated "NioUI Config.lua" and "lib.lua" (in the oUF_NioDrk folder): http://www.mediafire.com/?arddo21rgajqmmz <-- "NioUI Config.lua" http://www.mediafire.com/?e8wvox6dfhjjipq <-- "lib.ua" in the oUF_NioDrk folder Putting those in should (hopefully) keep it normal for the 1680x1050 resolution, but make it look like my screen shot for 1920x1080. Hope that amidst all my inane questions, I was able to help some. Only things I'm really all that interested in fixing are the bag addons showing of all currencies, and how the Objectives window automatically maximizes itself (both of these are done when logging in or reloading ui). Other than that, which is just nitpicking, great ui set up and addon pack. Thank you again for it. Edit (yes another one): Updated the "NioUI Config.lua" file. The debuff bars were too far below the unit frame, so I fixed that. Quick question that I want to see if I can fix something with the new resolution files: Which file has the coordinates for the Tooltip (like when you have your cursor over a player)? At 1920x1080, its too far to the left so I was going to try to fix that. And, I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but on that tooltip, there's two lines as to who the person you have your cursor over is target, so it will say "Targeting: <<YOU>>" and "Target: <You>" right below that. Any idea on where I'd go to fix that? Sorry for all the questions. This is my first time ever editing this stuff, so I don't want to end up doing something I can't fix lol. But, in the end, the files might also be able to help you since you won't have to edit them for the different resolution.

Thanks a lot, will look into it, when I have some time.
Regarding the issue that everything resets, that is my fault. I just have realized, that I do not wait for the local variables to be loaded, before making this changes. On my computer they are loaded, when it comes to the skinning part, but thats just random I guess. So on your machine the ui just reinstalls each time. I will solve this issue too, when I have time. You could open the files in the skin folder and add a line with just "return" before the line with "if nioUIInstall then return end". This will stop the reskinning, until I have fixed it. |

Just tried adding the "return" lines in the "Skins" folder's .lua files, but each one gave an error in game (says "unexpected symbol near if"). Thanks for all the help with trying to get this set up.

Thanks a lot for your help. I have updated the UI to include your settings for 1920x1080 and hopefully fixed the bug, that resets some of the addons.
You can move the tooltip by using the slash command "/tip anchor". Why you get two identical lines I don't know, but it could be related to the reseting bug. The Debuffbars should now look for a classbar and anchor to it. Thanks again for your help and have fun |

Glad I could help, and thank you for all of your help. Really loving the ui too. Thanks again.
Edit: Also, the resetting bug is fixed. But the double lines for what someone is targeting still show up in the tooltip.

Hi there,
Awesome UI. It's wonderfully lightweight and has kick-ass graphics. Sadly, my resolution is 1440 x 900 and I can't use it. I don't suppose you have any plans to launch a version for this screen res like, yesterday? :3 Keep up the good work |

It shouldn't be that difficult to adjust it to your resolution. You do not need any lua-skills to do it. Just open "nioUI Config.lua" in a text editor (Notepad++ is a very good one. Set the language in it to lua and the file will be much more readable). At the top of that file you will find all positions and relevant sizes in one neat place. Everything there should be very self-explanatory. The easiest way to make this changes, is to open the file and wow. Enter your values, save the file and just reload the ui. This way you see your changes immediately (P.S.: You can reload the ui by shift-clicking on the Bugsack-LDB). If you do this, you could post or send me your changes and I will implement them, so that you don't need to change this file every time you update, and maybe there are others like you, who will profit from it too

Thanks for the tip! I was so disappointed at the thought of not being able to adjust it - as I basically only need to move the side panels a bit and want to lower the player portrait and target portraits down a bit so the centre of the screen is uncluttered (I have a bad habit of clicking the middle of the screen when I try to turn the camera mid-fight and I often end up clicking something I don't want to, LOL). The rest is pretty much ok.
I will DEFINITELY set to work tweaking it as soon as I get home from work tonight. You've made this a very happy priest! My hubby also loved the UI and now that we know how to tweak it for both our resolutions, you've just made yourself 2 new fans. Definitely made my day. Thanks and will send you feedback as soon as I can. Gosh, is it home time yet?? Work-on-major-patch-day FTL! |

Within "NioUi Config.lua" you will be able adjust nearly all aspects of the ui, without much knowledge about lua. There are just all options, positions and sizes for all the elements in one place |

You're *really* making me want to go home right. now.
Thanks again for info. I had seen I could change the unit frames last night but I was really so disappointed as I thought I couldn't make the rest work for me that I kinda just gave up without looking into it in any depth. Tonight, however, with everything on the live server, I plan to do an exhaustive overhaul of, well, everything. It's a big step for me. I've used the same UI and addons for years now. Lua editing is new (and an exciting challenge). As a healer, raid frames are my biggest thing. Will see how everything works out. Will let you know and help out as much as I can. WTB home time so I can start fiddling about with the UI :ACK!! 5 hours to go! (oh and pray live servers are up by then too...) |
