Easy, just go to the cfg.lua file, and look for the cfg.GroupUnit_FadeOutAlpha option (alpha is the Transparencyof the frame) and change it to whatever you like. It ranges from 0.00 (totally Transparent) to 1.00 (no Transparency) |

First off, thank you for taking over updating this ui - it is greatly appreciated! <3
Second, is there a way that I can have debuffs in raid frames just show up as the border rather than the whole unit frame having a glow? It makes it hard to see people who are out of range. Though I see below you've said how to change the darkness of out of range people, I really would prefer just the border rather than the glow. ^^ sorted that one out Thanks! Edit to add: I have another question - how can I get the type of mob shown on the unit frame - ie Undead/demon/humanoid/etc? ^^ still unable to find this tho :\ Thanks again!

Can I somehow extract the settings for oUF lumen to use it in my own interface?
To make oUF lumen look like this, because I really like the setup of it. Thanks. (: |

I'm really sorry to be a pest but this is driving me nuts!
I really would like to see the type of mob/npc in the info bar - eg beast/demon/humanoid/etc and I cannot figure out how to to do this. Thanks in advance! |

First of all I'm sorry for not giving you an anwser before. The truth is that i missed this question on your previous post. I just read the first part asking about the "raid frame border debuff" and since you found the solution i kinda missed the rest of the post. Anyway your question is solved: Open oUF_lumen.lua go to line 143 and it should be somehting like this: Code:
local c, l, ur, t= UnitClassification(unit), UnitLevel(unit), UnitRace(unit), UnitCreatureFamily(unit) Code:
local c, l, ur, t, ut = UnitClassification(unit), UnitLevel(unit), UnitRace(unit), UnitCreatureFamily(unit), UnitCreatureType(unit) Code:
elseif UnitPlayerControlled(unit) then str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cffc2c2c2%s|r",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l,t) else str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r ",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l) end Code:
str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r ",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l) and change it to Code:
str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cffffffff%s|r",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l, ut)

Hey, I have a quite big problem.
oUFlumen is simply not working for one of my chars. On every other char it works completely fine, settings are easier to be done than I thought anyway. But it won't show up. I reloaded/-started several times, it's turned on in the char menu, I turned it on with Ampere - nothing. Does anyone have an idea, why that could be? Thanks. |

Thats a really strange situation. Let's see what we can do. First: You can activate addon depending on the character your playing with, so double check ouf_lumen is on with the character you want. Open the addon thing on the character select screen, then select your character name from the drop down list, and confirm it's activated for that character. Make sure oUF is activated also, oUF_lumen wont work without oUF Second: When you enter with that specific character do you see the default game frames? If yes, it means oUF_lumen isn't loading just like you sayed. We need to find another solution. If no, theres something wrong with oUF_lumen wich is bad hehe. Third: Theres a file inside the "WTF/account/server/char" folder (i can't quite remeber what is the correct path, or the filename) where you can see the addons activated for that character. Open that file with notepad or something and look for ouf and ouf lumen. The file should be something like this: Code:
Addonname=true Addonname2=false I'll look up this file name when i get home. Forth: Well has a last resource. Delete the WTF folder. When you open the game it will generate a new one. However this means you will need to reconfigure every game option/addon you had before. Hope it helped

First: Yes, it is.
Second: I see the default ones, so oUFlumen did not load, my bad. ![]() Third: Code:
oUF_lumen: enabled oUF: enabled Fourth: I'll try that then. Thanks. (: |

Let me know how it ended up. Its reaaaaaaly strange the frames not showing for a specific char alone. I thought it had something to do with the "activate addons per char" but i guess i was wrong :/ Theres nothing on this frame ui (the oUF_lumen) saved on variables, everything is configured on the cfg file, thats why i assumed the addon was not properly loaded. Good luck anyway. |

Ok I'm sure you're sick of me now - or I should just learn this stuff myself... lol
I want to get the unit type to show up on elites/rares/elite rares just for having everything the same. I added the "ut" to the end of the lines for those types like in the other one and it has not included the unit type on those. I'm just wondering what I've missed. Ty again for all your help! |

Of course im not sick of you. A bit above around line 150 you will see Code:

if c == "worldboss" then str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cff%02x%02x%02xBoss|r |cffffffff%s|r" ,d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l,250,20,0, ut) elseif c == "eliterare" then str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cff0080FFRare|r Elite |cffffffff%s|r ",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l, ut) elseif c == "elite" then str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r Elite |cffffffff%s|r ",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l, ut) elseif c == "rare" then str = string.format("|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cff0080FFRare|r |cffffffff%s|r ",d.r*255,d.g*255,d.b*255,l, ut) NOTE: I dont have the game atm I'm hoping for the best here.
