After the error happens, the test bar layout does not vanish when you close the options; it improperly remains up all the time. You have to either reload the UI or delete the SmartAuraWatch SVs and start over. More of a problem is that the bug prevents the mod from working properly when you want to have the layout set to either "Vert. + Bars" or "Hor. + Bars". Open the options again after reloading the UI when you have it set to Vert. + Bars, the same error is thrown (on a different line number) and the icon layout doesn't appear. Instead, an odd yellow box appears: Code:
1x SmartAuraWatch-4.1b\SmartAuraWatch.lua:1060: SmartAuraWatch_AuraBtn11_sbBar_fsTarget:SetText(): Font not set SmartAuraWatch-4.1b\SmartAuraWatch.lua:1060: in function `SmartAuraWatch_AuraUpdate' SmartAuraWatch-4.1b\SmartAuraWatch.lua:3140: in function `SmartAuraWatch_OnUpdate' <string>:"*:OnUpdate":1: in function <[string "*:OnUpdate"]:1> |

Thanks for the update. One question: how on earth do you change the cooldown font size within the proc alert icons? Using the default font ("NumberFont_Outline_Med"), its currently very tiny and almost impossible to see.
Have tried /saw fso (number) with various numbers from -20 to 20 (5, -5, 10, -10, etc.). Chat feedback stated that the changes registered properly. But the font size in the icons never changed. |

@Zidomo
I assume this is the cooldown font of OmniCC, SAW does not display a number for spell cooldowns. |

Priest Rapture
Is there anyway to get this addon to show the cooldown of Rapture?
I don't believe its a buff you get, more an internal cd. Would be really awesome if if could be added. |

Feature requests
I've been using SmartAuraWatch for a few months now; took a while to get used to using it, but it's become my replacement for several other buff and debuff tracking mods. I do have a couple of requests, but don't know how hard they would be to implement.
1) It would be nice to be able to manipulate the font on the charges independently; I know you can scale the font on the countdown and the charges together, but I would rather enlarge the charges somewhat and scale down the cooldown a little. As it is, I have to use a rather large icon to see the charges clearly. A color option for the charges would be nice as well, blue writing on a blue icon is hard to see, as an example. 2) I can't seem to get it to work the way I would like for cooldowns on spells. For example, Blink; everytime I Blink, I would like the icon to appear with a cooldown count, then disappear when it is off cooldown. Same with abilities like Whirlwind or Cleave. The best I can seem to get it to do is to keep an icon up all the time, but I would really rather it disappear when the cooldown on the ability is over. Otherwise, I may as well just throw an extra action bar up with the ability on it to track the cooldown. Otherwise, the mod works pretty well for tracking buffs and debuffs. Like SmartBuff, which I have been using for years, the interface is a little tricky to figure out, but the mods themselves work great once you set them up. Thanks for all you work over the past expansions! |

@Willowy
Thanks To 1: I will check that for a future release To2: This feature is available in the latest version 4.3a. Enter the aura name, set the filter to "Cooldown" and it tracks the cooldown of the spell. You can also play around with "Not active" option. |

4.3a
I tried it out, looks like cooldowns are working, thank you! Only a couple of minor things I noticed; for some reason, the cooldowns aren't respecting the "Colored Text" global option. I had it set off so all the timers were one color, but the count on the cooldowns seems to stay colored anyways, even if I toggle the option back and forth. Not sure why, everything looked right in the saved variable file. Also, though I have worked around it with Duration>sec of "2", would it be possible to have the cooldowns ignore the global cooldown? Otherwise, everytime you pop a spell all the icons will light up for 1.5s.
Very nice though, TellMeWhen is almost unneeded now. The only thing that I don't see a way to track now with SmartAura would be caster debuffs on target, that is without entering each different type of possible debuff into a bar. TMW has a debuff option for "Spell Critcal chance" and one for "Spell Damage Taken" , where it looks like they lump the possible debuffs together into two groups. I use it to see if our moonkin/lock are keeping debuffs up on target, it's pretty handy. Any chance of putting something like that in, or maybe it's something I can set up myself? Thanks again, the cooldowns are great. Edit: To be more precise, I use TMW to show a bar with icons for the debuffs that are faded out a bit when the debuff is not present on target, and they disappear completely when the debuff is up. Then, of course, I have them visible in my SAW bar set up for target debuff tracking. So far, I haven't found a way to set up SAW in this manner.

Global cooldown ignore for Cooldown tracking
Looks like it's working ok in MoP for the most part, every now and then I see it miss something like a Fingers of Frost proc, but that is rare. Thanks for keeping it updated! Still hoping you might be able to work in a way for cooldown tracking to ignore the global cooldown trigger, so a whole bar doesn't light up every time I Blink. Setting the duration timer to 2s eliminates this, but would be nice to see the complete countdown sometimes. Still very easy to use and setup, thanks again.
