Archy is officially maintained once more by myrroddin. Official releases have resumed. The updated file here is a dummy text file, telling you the exact same thing. You can get the updated original here.

This project contained many of the community's fixes as well a few of my own and and puts them all together into a bugfix patch of the most recent version of Archy to tide people over until myrroddin took things in hand.

I have added a donation link, both to this page, and to the download box. These link to daihenka's donation page, the same as if you clicked them on one of the official Archy download pages. You can double-check this here on WoWInterface (you have to download the file for the donation box to pop up), or over at Curse if you don't trust me.

This was part of DBM but they turned it off as the joke got old fast.

Not as far as I can see from a search of the code base.

There's dingding.mp3 in the Media folder of Archy's addon folder.

Then there's a few playsound calls in the Ace3 libraries but they look to only be interface elements.

Try turning off _all_ your addons except for Archy then go off prospecting.

Can you record the voice ?

I used to get a strange voice when ever I found keystones but recently its gone away. Is this Archy that does that or Wow its self?

i've turned off every addon and back to basics and still not getting the digsite with range finder window appearing. The other window is a bit erratic as to when it will appear however it does eventually appear and after then no problems on the minimap click.

Worked fine yesterday...

After lamenting the patch breaking Archy (sadface), I finally decided to investigate and found the fixes here. I DL'd them fine and used it easily. Absolutely LOVE the new changes, btw, great job!

I got on this morning to do a lil digging, and it seems to be having issues. One or both of the boxes aren't showing up at times and the "digging area" isn't showing up on the minimap.

I've tried reloading, restarting, and reinstalling, but no dice. Any suggestions?

Set Waypoint

Hello all - probably missing something here, but here it goes. Is there a way to set the waypoint arrow by clicking in the Archy window ? Occasionally when I am flying to my next dig site, TomTom will switch the arrow over to "my closet quest" and I lose the dig site.

I have clicked every way from Tuesday in the Archy box trying to get it to set the dig site waypoint back - but no luck.

I am using the latest official with this bugfix pack applied.

It doesn't happen with my version of bugfix6, however I did have it happen in the old "official" one, the issues is still the same when the text exceeds the printable area it chances to dots.

You can resize the font to fit within the window, as I say the other change would be to make the printable area bigger or overlay the text outside of the object.

Have you checked the options, as I'm sure there is a check box on one of the pages to enable and disable the range finder.

It may be worth playing about a bit with some of the options. It is also possible that the range finder window might be outside of the viewable area, I've had it happen with another addon. Resetting the windows to their default starting positions and then moving them again sorted that issue.

Also give the fact that you appear to be using a heavily modified UI give the other addons you have commented on, there maybe an interaction issue between another addon and Archy. I would suggest starting Archy as the only addon and working from there as a possible way to track an issue.

Bugfix5 and Bugfix6 bug..

When you have made a survey and you move from it, your distance-indicator tracks it..
However when you go 100+ yards away, the text changes to "1..." when you are 100-199 away, "2..." and 200-299 away etc etc etc



If there is room for 4 characters, why not just display the actual distance, as that only uses 3 characters??

TomTom support

I'm not sure why or if its a tomtom problem but every time i goto the map and right click to zoom out and then go back to the main screen tomtom has turned off and i have to go back to the interface options and unclick then reclick for it to work.
