Re: Buffs Disappearing
Glad you like it!
The addon I use for displaying buffs/debuffs is called "Raven" (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...aven.html#info). It should show you buffs to the left of your target-frame and debuffs to the right. As shown below: The reason why you're not seeing Raven could be because the addon hasn't been loaded (check the Addon settings from the character selection screen, and make sure Raven is enabled), or because it's somehow positioned "outside" the view of your screen. I'm guessing you are running a resolution of either 1920x1080 or 1920x1200, and you already ran the following command? Code:
/reflux switch MyAionUI Code:
/raven |

Sucks you quit...seems that I get errors every time I try to set a focus target. Tells me some part of the addon has been blocked by Blizzard. I have no idea how to work around it...can't set a focus target at all.

I couldn't draw to save my own life! I can push textures around, though . I definitely keep my eye on the UI to make sure everything is working (user feedback is greatly appreciated), and I generally upload a new version whenever a major patch hits WoW (to my knowledge no major changes have come out post-5.4, in regards to the addon API). The reason why I'm not uploading a bunch of new versions in-between major content patches, is because I no longer play the game, and I kind of need to be subbed to test every aspect of the UI. I can't justify staying subbed for months on end just to work on addons/UIs, even though that's pretty much what I spent my last year of game-time doing . So far, I've been re-subbing when a major patch hits live servers, which gives me a chance to get a new version of the UI out . Rest assured, the UI ain't dead.

Just wanted to pop in and thank you again for your lovely UI. I had to switch off of it due to being a healer recently (grawr, being a healer can make UIs difficult to tinker with) - but I still wanted to say that I really love your UI. Very beautiful.
Do you plan on keeping it updated? I'd hate to see this go poof. :-( No other Aion / Korean-looking UIs out there for WoW. Not any that I have found anyway, and none as lovely. I know you grabbed Aion art but still. You did a lovely job. *smiles* |

I did, because not updating them caused an endless string of lua errors. Updating them manually did fix the errors, however now I'm having the issue mentioned before. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated!

I can understand why you would want to update Dominos and Chinchilla, but I'll need to make modifications to the most recent version of Dominos' XP.lua file before it'll work with the latest version of Dominos (could upload that to you somewhere, if you'd like ).

Since the most recent minor patch, there were some issues with a few addons, such as dominos & chinchilla. They updated these individual addons, and they are working (mostly) without error now, however I'm having some minor issues with the xp bar. It's now purple all the time (the entire bar), with earned xp being darker and the rest being semi-transparent. Also, when I hover over it, there is text, however it's unreadable (kind of in the background). Any ideas? I tried to attach a screenshot, but I don't have the image uploaded to the net...the site won't let me upload directly from my computer.

Re: Re: Re: ONLY using Grid
I've used the UI for pretty much every aspect of the game (apart from arena PvP), and I have to say I'm generally pretty pleased with it. If I were still raiding (and I started raiding on a resto dr00d in vanilla ) I would probably make a custom UI just for that, simply because you can make a very slick and healing-centric UI consisting only of player, target and focus unitframes combined with a small action bar and a well configured Grid(2) frame. As a healer I remember having my eyes on raid-frames 90% of the time, so I would try to center the UI around those. Below is a couple screenshots of my own UI during the WotLK days (sorry about the massive resolution - I was using 1920x1200 back then): |

Re: Re: ONLY using Grid
*edit* I have to ask. I recently switched to playing my Hpally. I was playing dmg roles for quite a while, and I know in those roles you have to watch a lot less. Do you think your UI will work well for healing?
