that is very kind of you. And yes its like a Grid2/vuhdoo/Tuk Party/raid frame or some sort like that. but it would be great if its gonna be like a Tuk look alike party/raid frame with some of your aion graphics. I'm not really sure if you can imagine what im trying to say.but hey it's like making your Aion ui more usable as a dps, tank and of course as a healer raiding UI as well. And i cant just moved on how beautiful this UI is. very unique

Take a look at the screenshot below. It's a raid of an outdoor boss in Aion. Preferably, I would like to make similar raid frames in WoW, even if they are slightly cumbersome compared to what current raid-addons in WoW offer. The whole idea was to stick as close as possible to the source . The problem is that raid frames in WoW behave differently compared to Aion - they pretty much behave like regular party frames. I haven't found a way to attach a texture to each and every unit's raid frame in WoW. Below is an example of a possible compromise. I mixed a traditional Grid raidframe-layout with an original Aion background texture. With a bit of kgPanels fiddling I should be able to have different background textures appear - the height is the only thing that would be changed - based on the size of the raid (10,15,20,25,40). |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwi2qNqIZ5A I'll try to keep the Grid-settings very tight and clean, to give new users a simple and sleek raid overview. Savvy raiders can always add whatever debuff/buff-status indicators they need - this can vary quite a lot in my experience. Besides, it's hard to make a single Grid-setup streamlined for every single healing class out there.

regarding 4.3 update
In case anyone is waiting for a 4.3 update of this compilation, I'm currently waiting for a few more of the included addons to get updated before I post a 4.3 version of the UI.
In the meantime you can manually update every single addon in the UI pack, apart from the SharedMedia and SharedMediaLib - folders. These contain custom textures, and are required for the UI to function properly. Almost every addon is available here on WoWinterface, but a few select ones are only available at WoWace. |
