I used to have a problem similar to that, but it was only regarding whispers. Everything else seemed normal. Check out these screenshots for tips on how I moved the RealID toaster around with Chatter: http://imgur.com/a/fph85#0 Edit: another fix for the chat issues you are having, is to disable every addon, reload WoW (/reloadui or /reload) and right-click on the "General" chat-tab in the chat window. Hit "Reset Chat Windows", reload WoW with all addons enabled and see if that makes a difference. Screenies: http://imgur.com/a/5RiYb

I've switched over to Prat, but the issue was happening before that. RealID is a little badge that displays when someone on your friend list logs in. http://screencast.com/t/h8EyGMXStqJ That's what's happening, but so far I've been unable to figure out what has moved the object. Thanks for looking into it! |

Hey DrGlenn,
Thanks for porting over this UI. Really dig it, I love that it's still fantasty-based, rather than all of these ElvUI/TukUI variations which don't feel like they fit the general idea of the game. Anyhow, that being said, I've run into an odd issue... When people log in, the RealID announcement falls off my screen. Can you tell me what AddOn would control this so I can move it? It's driving me nuts! Thanks. |

As you correctly surmised, I use "IHasNoScope" to block some of the messages (not all, though), and ErrorMonster to redirect the messages I do want to appear to the addon responsible for floating combat text (in this case, MikScrollingBattleText). I realize there are error messages that won't appear at all (such as "Out of bag space", and as you pointed out instance messages). This can be annoying and it's definitely a trade-off, but one I felt was necessary to make a pleasing UI experience. You could disable "IHasNoScope" and keep "ErrorMonster" enabled, if you want to see all the error messages, and still get the benefit of redirecting a large portion of them to Parrot (repositioning them more towards the center of the screen, and away from the target UI frame). edit: I forgot I swapped Parrot with MikScrollingBattleText

I've noticed that some aspect of this addon hides the error messages that normally flash in the center of the screen, like "Out of range", "out of mana", "must wait 15 minutes before you can vote to kick"
Some of these messages can be pretty important, how can I turn this back on? or if they have simply been moved elsewhere, where can i see these error messages? it can be a little bit bothersome not knowing why I can't click on certain items in game. At first I figured it might be errormonster, so i disabled it, and the error messages were still hidden, so i re-enabled it Edit: I found the Culprit. Ihasnoscope I'm not really clear on what else this addon does, but apparently part of it's functionality is disabling error messages.

I just realized that the level indicator next to the player portrait doesn't display 3 digits (as in, when you reach lvl 100). This is caused by the level indicator text area not being wide enough.
I didn't realize this was a problem until now because I don't have any level 100 characters You can fix it easily by going into the Stuf Unitframes options: Code:
/stuf On the right side of the menu change "X Position" to "67" (and hit enter), and also change "Width" to "23" (and hit enter). edit: this is for the 1920x1080 config. I haven't tried this on 1920x1200 - the values might be different.

Yeah, you might be able to fix this.
If only the minimap is out of position, then you can easily fix this by going to the chinchilla config: /chinchilla (or right click the minimap) and re-position the minimap (either with X,Y coordinates or by unlocking and dragging the minimap). In case it's not just the minimap which is out of position, then I'm afraid I can't really help you since I've only tweaked the UI for 1920x1080 and 1920x1200. Whenever you go into windowed mode (and not just windowed fullscreen), you lose quite a bit of screen real-estate, effectively changing the resolution and messing up the positions of the UI elements. It's still possible to re-align every UI element for when you're in windowed mode, but you'd have to do it manually. Another user asked me about this some time ago, and I made a lengthy post explaining how you'd go about doing this. Unfortunately, I can't link you directly to my post (this forum doesn't support direct comment linking?) but it's on page 4, and the date'n'time is 10-30-13, 01:12 PM. You can also check out two other posts I made about this on page 8, date'n'time 03-25-12, 12:12 AM and 03-14-12, 04:49 PM. Edit: the missing screenshot from my oldest post on page 8 (the one with the "03-14-12, 04:49PM" timestamp) is basically:

The UI is very beautiful and gives me great memories from Aion But I have a problem with the windowed mode. I always play the game in windowed mode cause I often check the internet and talk to skype etc. The UI is go out of position when switching to windowed mode.
Is there an easy way to fix this ? |

Latest version of the UI is up for grabs. Most of the addons have been updated for 6.1.
Kudos to themurloc for posting the Collections-button code! |

For anyone having trouble with the pets/mounts menu not showing up when you click the button starting since patch 6.1 try this:
type in /kgpanels config Expand the Active Panels option on the left Expand the customPets option within that click on the OnClick command options, then a short segment of code will appear: Replace TogglePetBattlesJournal() with ToggleCollectionsJournal() Since this is due to the fact that the pet journal has been expanded in 6.1 and renamed "Collections" you can also change the tooltip to reflect that by going to the OnEnter command just above the OnClick command you were just at, and where it says local TipText = "Pets and Mounts" you can change it to local TipText = "Collections" |
