Cyui v4  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 4.6
by: kryo85 [More]

Cyuiv4.6

New version available, compatible with patch 5.0.4!

Starting from version 4.3, addon specific skins will not be defaulted with the ui. You can look here for a addon that will skin all the major addons available: Tukui & ElvUI Extra Skins
Maintained by Azilroka, Repooc and Darth Predator, members of the Tukui community. Also, requests to skin any addons can be made in this thread.

Cyui is a module for Tukui. It uses the Tukui engine to run, and re-skin Blizzards' default interface.
Cyui was designed for 1680*1050 and above resolutions, and requires a bigger than 1280*900 resolution to run smoothly. Lower resolutions may run, but are not supported.

INSTALLATION

  1. BACKUP your Interface and WTF folders
  2. Download and extract Tukui to WoW/Interface/AddOns
  3. Download and extract CyUI to Wow/Interface/AddOns
  4. Restart the client, make sure both Tukui and CyUI are enabled on the addon management page
  5. Log your character, and follow the onscreen tutorial
If you're upgrading from v1 to v2, please perform a CLEAN INSTALL, remove or backup your WTF folder as well as the v1 CyUI folders.
If you're upgrading from either v1, v2 or v3 to v4 it's not necessary a clean install, but it is recomended that you perform a /resetui after logging in for the first time.

disable skins and threat bar?

Is there anyway to disable the built in DBM/Skada/Omen skins? I prefer to customize them in their respective configs and especially for dbm find maroon/black millimeter thin timers very hard to see. Also, since I do use Omen for threat, is there any way to disable the bar that overlaps the other indicators? This bar is redundant for me and I would like to see my ping/fps changes throughout a fight. Thanks.

On the map issue, that was a problem with one of the map functions, which i believe is corrected here on WoWI already. What version are you running with? Type /version and let me know.

Hi,

first of all: Congratulations! Up to now this the UI I like best of the ones I have used (since 2005).

I have a couple of questions thou...

1. How do I see when I am PvP flagged? I play in Magtheridon EU which is a normal realm, not PvP.
2. The world map is often off screen to the left. If I minimize it it's ok, but when it is wide open 1/3 of it goes off the screen to the left... Is there a way to set it?

That said, go to config/config.lua, and search for
Code:
["showtotalhpmp"]
and set it to false.

Will look like this

Hey,

First of all i want to say that your work is truelly magnificent; i believe this is the best tukui edit hands down and wanted to thank you for all the hard work you put in this. I really appreciate it!

I wanted to ask for your help for something that i am trying to tackle. I am trying to enable health percentages on the unit frames. Ex, i would like to be able to see my health percentage and the boss health percentage.

As a tank both information are crucial for popping specific abilities (taunts, defensive cds, etc) during the fight. I've read your instructions and pointed me on this thread :http://www.tukui.org/forums/topic.php?id=10871
Section 7 of the FAQ: "7. REPORTED ISSUES" which describes a work around of this.

My problem is that whenever i try to modify that file, i am getting either:
1) A storm of lua errors, which totally messed up ui or
2) Nothing.

Is there a way to find somewhere an edited file that has enabled health % all across the unit frames (the player's, target's, focus, boss etc)?

Lastly, may i kindly request this as a feature in a future update please?

Again, thanks for all that effort!

Code:

and
Code:
-- move the chat edit box
There you have the code for the chat tab, move or anchor them to another place.

I've been attempting to remove/hide the data text panel but it seems the chat box to write in is anchored to the left one. And every time I've sucsessfully hid the panel, the chat box covers half the left side of the screen. I'm thinking thats specific to your edit as I can't seem to find any info on it. Is there a simple fix to it? I only really wish to show the durability datatext, everything else is unecessary for me. :3

Again, thanks for an amazing ui <3

Will be fixed on the latest github release, and here too.

Please reset your UI, /resetui. Also, if you have any actionbar addon disable it and try again. If there was an error with the actionbars all bars would revert to default, and if i recall correctly, there's no option to disable the main bar on Blizzard's interface.

Noticed that a while again, already fixed it but haven't pushed to github yet.

Not compatible with quartz

For some reason the player / target frames bug out when quartz is loaded and as a result there is no player frame and it uses the default target. Here is a screenshot of it:

Here is the error:
Code:

Missing action bars?

When I logged onto my Rogue to set up the UI, I noticed that the actionbars to the left were missing. I can't seem to find a fix for it, so I'm coming to you for some help.

Map bugging out

While questing on an alt I found that the map tooltips bug out.

The background overlaps non discovered area's, but it will not show above discovered area's.

Kinda weird discription so I added a screenshot to show you what is happening:
