This is just too awesome! I'm campaigning for my guild to use it, but we'll see how that goes. The only thing I miss from the default roster is the professions, but you said you're working on that.

Great work!

Are there any in-game slash commands? Just got it, or just in the addon UI interface?

This seems like an awesome addon by the way, about to try it out today.

Well that will be a great change, but as far as now, my guild members and I still like the forum and the ability not to use it is bothersome. Is there a programming issue with the new patch (4.1) that bugged the forum module?
Our forum is sort of blank in that there are repeating gray bars with the '+" sign on the left and the "delete" sign on the right.

10 days isnt that long, considering I've spent 6 months on this project and I don't get anything for it.
Anyway, I've been pretty busy the last few weeks, but im back now.
As to your previous post:
The resizer bug was reported a while ago and will be fixed in the next version.
I'll take a look at the other problems.

Thanks for the addon. Tried it out...however, it's not really usable as there's no easy way (at least that I can see) of removing a member from the roster list.

Would be great if there were a way of selecting multiple members to remove them (or change their rank, etc).

will look back later to see if any responses!

Question Re: hey

I downloaded this addon and it is very quirky. There is an arrow along the right side of the guild window and it points to the right as if to open when I click it. What happens when I click it is the guild window shrinks a little bit each time the arrow is clicked.

Also, on the Info tab, nothing shows up under MOTD and Guild Info, when I click to edit the text it shows up in the window but nothing shows in the guild window once the edit window is closed.

And when I go into the settings (ESC > INTERFACE > ADDONS > GuildMaster) other than a description of the feature on some of the pages, there are NO settings whatsoever. Is this supposed to be this way?

So yeah after seeing all this I disabled ALL of my other addons, cleaned up all the GuildMaster lau files and lua.bak files and then downloaded a fresh copy just to be sure. After installing the addon, again, and only having that addon activated, I get the same results.

So what's up?

hey

thanks for all your work on this addon, i have been attempting to get the hang of it, and get some members to download it, a problem i ahve with is the roster, it doenst accurately display time inactive (last seen) for instance if i want to go through roster and kick inactive, i would have to go and disable the roster from interface, so i can see actual inactive times, teh GMroster is inaccurate, the blizz roster for guild is accurate, also if there was perhaps an easier way to kick inactives, rather than clicking 3 different boxes, that would be appreciated,

thank you very much,

youre welcome to dinner at my box on the side of the street under the bus stop any time, ...

err...as long as you bring the dinner that is

To whoever is still holding out on the next update, thanks for sticking around :P
I've been frantically trying to finish off the new roster, as well as fix all the problems the patch has caused.

The roster is now done apart from the scrollbars (which i hate!) and proffesions.
It's pretty customisable, you can add new columns or remove them as you please,
and the search bar works for any of the shown columns. The member detail frame is fairly similar to the default one, except there are two new pages for players stats and talents.

Here's a couple of screenshots:

So now i just need to add settings for the roster and the banker modules and I'll be uploading an alpha version

You cant do i directly, but on that basis that each rank needs a higher requirement than the previous one, you can set a level range by setting level requirements for each rank

For example if you set a level requirement of 30 for rank 2, 40 for rank 3, everyone between level 30-39 will end up in rank 2.
