Hello there.
First of all thanks for a nice addon I expect to get alot of usage out of it in a few weeks. I'm getting some errors when picking up Archaeology on Cataclysm beta. These are all v1.4 and happen at different times in the game. 1. Code:

Nvm, it was trivial error, guessing leftovers from early stages in development.
Lines 466 to 468 need changing to Code:

Lots of LUA errors
Archy worked fine for a while and now suddenly after starting with a fresh Beta client (WTF also new) I get none stop error spam and none of Archy's features function anymore (with the exception that I can still read my current skill level on the tooltip and show/hide Digsite/Artifact windows but both are empty), I disabled all other addons to make sure this is no library conflict.
The moment I login I get a chat message that Astrolabe is missing data (but it did that before Archy broke too). And I'm instantly greeted with this LUA Error: Code:

Hi Nogun,
Could you try hiding Archy by clicking on the minimap icon or typing /archy toggle and then clear out the nearest digsite and see if that fixes the problem. I have a feeling I know what the problem is and will get onto it tonight. Cheers |

Hiding Archy by left clicking the minimap button works, unlocking and opening the Archaeology panel with middle click works as well.
The addon does not respond to any /archy command however. I cleared the 3 fragments on the nearest digsite, no change but each time I looted a fragment I did get this error: Code:

Astrolabe
A New Astrolabe version was released:
Revision: 118 Date: 2010-11-28 04:18:59 at SVN: http://svn.esamynn.org/astrolabe/ Could the current distribution of Archy be updated? it's still using the 2009 one, Astrolabe rev 107. Or is there a danger of breaking something without being able to test out Archaeology before Cataclysm release? |

I had a play with one of recent revisions just prior to the Beta closing and it had some issues, so I won't be looking at updating it until Cata launch.

Working Archy 1.4b
I keep forgetting to come back here, but no more
I fixed Archy-1.4b to work with the Astrolabe-1.0 library just before the Cataclysm beta closed. It's been working fine (with just updating Astrolabe-1.0 to more recent revisions) every since and through Cataclysm proper. Do you want me to upload it as an optional patch or what way to get it to you? |
