bubuUI

1920x1200 and 1920x1080

I use a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution. For now, I have decided to also support a 1920x1080 resolution. Whether I'm going to continue supporting both depends on how time consuming it will be.

I got rid of all addons that are not visible in the UI, like my trade skill addons or Auctioneer, to simplify the installation and setup of the package.

Credits go to CaithUI on which layout my UI is based on and which got me started fiddling around two years ago, to all other addon authors and Dukee, whom I bombarded with screenshots.
Not to forget, big, big thanks to Mani!

Many thanks to Beliablue for providing a 1680x1050 Resolution pack. Please click here if you want to use her resolution. Brilliant work, Belia!

Note:

The icons you see on the party image are cooldowns I set up with Power Auras and are class specific icons I use on my Shadow Priest. That's why I have not included Power Auras in my UI pack. It's useless for any other class.

Installation Guide

1. Make a backup of your Interface, texture and WTF folders, as for your macros.
2. Download and unzip the UI package into a new folder.
3. Open the WTF of your UI package and change the folders ACCOUNTNAME (has to be in caps), your servername, your charactername
4. Select the WTF folder for your resolution and copy and overwrite the texture, fonts, WTF and Interface folders into your WoW copy. Re-name it to WTF, once you are done

************************************************************************

5. After starting WoW, make sure every addon is enabled
6. Set your resolution in Blizzard's video settings
7. For UIscaling type or paste in chat the following:
/console useUiScale 1
/console uiscale 0.75999999046326

************************************************************************

8. Type into your chat /reflux switch bubuUI OR type /reflux switch bubu1080UI if you are using the 1920x1080 resolution.

No idea what that is, but I'll try and find it out.

texture bubu01.tga failed to load

in kgpanels under boarders it has the path to this as //textures/bubu01.tga and the corresponding file is in the folder

I tried taking the two slashes out (textures/bubu01.tga), didn't work..do I need to put the full path name in there?
Hello,

this is the path in kgpanels: \\texture\bubu01.tga

Pretty nice debuff and buff monitor, wich allows right clicking on buff/debuff frames. Besides, it has integrated bartender and dominos monitoring of own debuffs applied to target (inline aura style), and it only needs minimal knowledge for a nice configuration and integration with this ui.

As a rogue player, the only adjustments I've needed is Roguepower bars (better control of my own buffs/debuffs on target), Raven for better management of Blizz's default buff/defuff frames, Icehud, and the will of learning how to tweak a little bit further the best UI I've tried.

I can only encourage this suite author to keep the good job. Thumbs up (and keep the font scale if you feel comfortable with it, it's our job as users to redefine this UI to our needs).
Hello Reyn,

first of all, your English is perfectly fine and as a non-native speaker I know what it's like to find the right expressions. And thank you very much for your kind words.

Funny enough, I had Raven implemented in my UI pack. That was on the 4.0.1 patch day when SBF was not updated and I wanted to have a working Buff/debuff addon. Raven worked perfectly fine from the first time I installed it. But due to popular demand, I switched back to SBF, as people were more used to the config mode that SBF offers. I think both addons do an awesome job and can recommend them both.

regards, bu

Hello there,

Rofldots: I'm sorry, I don't know why you have the Blizzard buffs/debuffs displayed. I made a fresh install of the pack and the SBF showed up as intended.

Cenvish and Squex: The UI is set up for the 24" inch monitor that I am using. On fullscreen the font and the components of the UI package are perfectly fine and big enough for the way I play. There is no other way to re-scale font/components other than going into each addon and adjust it manually to your liking. A list of the addons used is on the front page.

I'm sorry that I can't be of more help.

bu

UI Scale problems.

Hi!
First of all! Finally! an awesome UI!
2nd: My UI scale is rly low and I can't find where to fix it, if I switch in the Video options all addons are getting mixed up, and the UI scale setting that was displayed in the installations manual makes it rly low scale, is there any way of doing all addons scale up abit more, Im using the 1080pack with a 1080monitor.

I am using your 1920x1080 resolution pack. I double checked and the command for pitbull to hide them is enabled. It is only the buffs/debuffs that I cannot get rid of however.
