bubuUI

1920x1200 and 1920x1080

I use a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 resolution. For now, I have decided to also support a 1920x1080 resolution. Whether I'm going to continue supporting both depends on how time consuming it will be.

I got rid of all addons that are not visible in the UI, like my trade skill addons or Auctioneer, to simplify the installation and setup of the package.

Credits go to CaithUI on which layout my UI is based on and which got me started fiddling around two years ago, to all other addon authors and Dukee, whom I bombarded with screenshots.
Not to forget, big, big thanks to Mani!

Many thanks to Beliablue for providing a 1680x1050 Resolution pack. Please click here if you want to use her resolution. Brilliant work, Belia!

Note:

The icons you see on the party image are cooldowns I set up with Power Auras and are class specific icons I use on my Shadow Priest. That's why I have not included Power Auras in my UI pack. It's useless for any other class.

Installation Guide

1. Make a backup of your Interface, texture and WTF folders, as for your macros.
2. Download and unzip the UI package into a new folder.
3. Open the WTF of your UI package and change the folders ACCOUNTNAME (has to be in caps), your servername, your charactername
4. Select the WTF folder for your resolution and copy and overwrite the texture, fonts, WTF and Interface folders into your WoW copy. Re-name it to WTF, once you are done

************************************************************************

5. After starting WoW, make sure every addon is enabled
6. Set your resolution in Blizzard's video settings
7. For UIscaling type or paste in chat the following:
/console useUiScale 1
/console uiscale 0.75999999046326

************************************************************************

8. Type into your chat /reflux switch bubuUI OR type /reflux switch bubu1080UI if you are using the 1920x1080 resolution.

Nothing apart from updated addons. I might change to skada soon though, which would make Omen obsolete. Not sure if and how I'm going to do it.

It seems that when I change the text font size in the Chat box it always resets every time I log in, any ideas how to make that a change stick? Also it seems that at the end of "Bar1" I have a box that looks like where the minimap tried to go at some point but I can't seem to get rid of it.. did you make a KG panel for the minimap? I can't seem to find any reason why this box is there, even after disabling the Mini Map addons its still just kicking it there.

Thanks again for a great UI and any insight you have to these minor issues on an otherwise fantastic UI would be greatly appreciated.
Hello Mcfunk,

thank you for the kind words. There are two ways of changing the font of the chat. If you hover over the chattab you can set the fontsize there (I'm guessing that's what you did) or you go into Chatter (/chatter) and adjust the size. The fontsize is set up in Chatter. Try that, see if it works for you.

As Hexxum suggested, I think you're talking about the Omen box. Just go into the Omen config (/omen) and unlock it.

Its where Omen Threat Meter goes. I think thats what you are referring to.

Quick question (s) regarding the 1/4/11 update:

I made several tweaks to suit my play style/liking so i am apprehensive to make a clean install of the latest version. I know can can just add the font folder, but I was curious which font you use...

also, what bugs did you fix? i notice that once in a while the fx cooldown bar will not appear and the spell timers above the player frame (which I believe are fx too) shows up on occasion.. although those might be specific to dots?

Thanks again
I've changed it to ABF font. That's the one I'm using for all my addons. With the changes from 04.01. the default fonts, Blizzard is using, are changed to ABF as well. The minor bug fixes were related to .txt files of old addons that I had taken out of the UI package but were still in the folders.

Hello there

I removed Banzai Alert some time ago because it hadn't been updated in ages and was causing errors. However, I am now using Power Auras to display an aggro warning in the middle of the screen with the voice in the background. Like you, I didn't want to miss out on that one. The reason why I don't include Power Auras in my UI pack is because the setup is class specific and useless unless you are a Shadow Priest and like the set up for it the way I have it. There's only the aggro warning but I don't think it's worth including an addon as big as Power Auras just for the aggro warning.

Anyway, I'll give you my string for Power Aura if you want to use it

Code:
Version:4.9; b:0.6706; g:0.6706; icon:Ability_Warrior_EndlessRage; r:0.502; bufftype:11; alpha:1; aurastext:Aggro; isResting:0; sound:16; textaura:true; aurastextfont:4; size:1.23; y:50; texmode:2; ismounted:0; finish:0
If you paste this into the 'Import' box of Power Auras you'll get the warning back
