oUF_mono
About:
oUF_mono is a layout for oUF 1.5.* by haste.
It was designed for my personal needs as hybrid class, so it should be comfy for either damage dealers, healers or even tanks.
This layout was made using zork's structure template from oUF_Simple and the raid module was inspired by Freebaser's oUF_Freebgrid.
This layout contains some basic configuration options via editing cfg.lua. However if you want to modify this layout beyond those settings you're going to need some lua knowledge and you got to read through oUF documentation. You may also find some answers and help in the oUF sub-forum on this website. Keep in mind that I will not modify this layout for you.

When we just spawn those partypet frames as units we can't really attach them to their owners properly. Yes they will be properly spawned when you form the party for the first time and everyone receive the appropriate party index according to SecureUnitButtonTemplate, but IF we force this index to change (that's exactly what happens when someone leave the party) that pet unit might end up attached to the wrong owner because its index remains the same. There is only 1 workaround for this issue - to use custom header xml template and therefore to spawn partypets as Headers. To cut long story short I will upload the new version as soon as I resolve 1 last issue regarding range check for partypets. |

Re: Buffs
I know I've seen the mod you're using to get those backgrounds behind your chat frame and icons and such. But I can't remember what it is... could you refresh my memory? I kinda like it.

seems the fonts in the mana bar are a little to big. as they sit over the bottom side.
also when you mark a npc. the icon when you have that npc targed. sits over there name. so maybe a short name or moving it else where. there also seems to be an icon at the same place as the party's lfd icon. when you clock on a party member. Also i see when say party member 3 has a pet. when someone of the party leaves. member 3's pet moves from beside him to member 1. is there a way to fis this.

If you don't want party frames shown for a small raid group why would you want them shown for party even, if you can simply display your party group as raid? And by the way you can perfectly do that by editing cfg.lua (showparty and partyON variables). This layout is not supporting ouf_movableframe because it's goddamn easy enough to set 2 numbers (X and Y coordinates) in cfg.lua and position the frame how you want.

Beautiful unit frames. Just have a small problem I'm hoping you can help with.
I was doing a 2 man ZG run and both the party frame and raid frame were showing. Is there any way I can turn off party when in a small raid? It seems to work fine with normal raids but something like a 5 man or smaller, everything shows. I looked over the code but couldn't find anything. Also, I use haste's ouf_movableframe to move the different parts but also notice that sometimes the party frames change position. Is there a solution? Thanks much.

As for cfg.playerauras option, I added this one for some people (tanks particularly) who want to duplicate their buff frame to keep track of short duration auras or buff stacks. So to cut a long story short I don't really see the need to make such an option, but if there will be more requests like this I'll think about it 2Soulslayer9731: there is an option in cfg.lua (cfg.auratimers) to disable custom timers... It's well commented so take a time and read through those lines... 2Jaidynne: To be honest I used to play shaman and I never could understand why oUF_Totembar is better than some proper totembar addon like aTotemBar with timers on them. I might add oUF_totembar support in shape of the runebar in future though. |

I don't know if you add requests buuuttt.... Any chance you plan on adding a Totem Timer similar to oUF_TotemBar? You have Combo Points and Deathknight Runes, a timer for totems would be awesomeness. By the way, I LOVE this layout. =] Thanks for releasing it.
