Added item counting. Items such as cloth can now be counted by Consolid8 instead of appearing in the chat.

Wait a minute, I want to see my party chat!
Everyone who's been in a dungeon probably knows the feeling. This text is meaningless, as nobody's going to keep count, and it's flushing your party or guild chat out of the log.

Consolid8 takes these messages and more, filters them, and only shows the important ones. The rest are counted up and summarised in a tooltip, and/or a report that appears when you finish your dungeon. This is how:

Reputation:
Consolid8 counts the reputation that you gain, and displays it in the report. (Note: Consolid8 does not remove the reputation messages from your chat; to remove them, right-click the chat tab and click settings.)
Loot:
When you loot a grey item, Consolid8 adds its vendor value to a total.
Items that you get a lot of, like cloth, Vrykul Bones, etc. are counted up (you can choose these items in the Interface Options).
Money loot is also counted up.
These messages are then hidden from your chat frame. Also, loot messages about other players (except loot rolls and wins) are hidden.
Honor and Experience:
These are also counted.
Crafting:
When you craft more than one item, Consolid8 counts how many you make and how many skill-ups they give you, and only displays two messages. For example:

Your skill in Tailoring has increased to 76.
You create: [Woolen Cape].
Your skill in Tailoring has increased to 77.
You create: [Woolen Cape].

Becomes:

Your skill in Tailoring has increased to 77 (+2).
You create: [Woolen Cape]x2.

A button is added over your chat frame, and optionally on a broker display (you can move or hide it if you like). Hovering over this will show a tooltip with the counts on it. Also, a report is automatically displayed when you leave a dungeon, showing all of your gains from that dungeon.

Slash command: /consolid8
Switches: reset, report, show, hide

Hopefully fixed a bug in loot handling with Master Looter mode, and added a safeguard timer to make sure any important loot is reported within ten seconds.

1.45 (minor update): Changed the default anchor for the button to make room for the new social button in 3.3.5.

1.4:

Now integrates better with Blizzard loot messages. Upgrading users must re-enable loot messages (Right-click General chat tab > Settings > Other > Check Item Loot).
Added option on report dialog to turn automatic reports on or off. (Upgrading users must re-enable this.)
Changed licence from GNU General Public Licence to Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Licence.

1.3:

Now consolidates messages from looting, gathering, etc.
Now tracks XP gains.
Changed the report method to a static pop-up, and made it appear automatically when you leave an instance.
Added slash command switches /consolid8 show and /consolid8 hide which show and hide the button respectively.

1.2:

Changed the LDB plug-in from a launcher to a data source.
Made the button movable (Hold down shift and drag) and sizable (Hold down shift and use scroll wheel)
Now tracks honor.

1.1:

Added an LDB (TitanPanel, FuBar, etc.) plug-in with the same behaviour as the normal icon.
Made the normal icon more visible on third-party UIs (Hopefully… Tested on SpartanUI)
Added a slash command as a last resort:
/consolid8 reset, report

Taigen A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 3 File comments: 82 Uploads: 0	I think an option to have it auto-report once you leave the instance would be great. That way you dont necessarily need the button or the LDB... it's totally up to the person's UI needs =)

Ok, thanks. I've got an update awaiting approval now which implements an LDB plug-in. Also, I've switched to SpartanUI myself recently, and looking at Caith's UI, my compatibility fix for SpartanUI might help.

I'm using a custom ui (caith's with tweaks and other addons). Add-on's that i have modifying the chatframe are Prat. Nothing else I have should effect it though.

Are you using the Blizzard UI and chat frame? I'm working on compatibility with other addOns now, and the LDB plugin is a great idea
