Gnosis (Castbars and Timers)
Gnosis is a highly configurable castbar and single timer addon. Gnosis can show ticks of channeled spells, detect unintentional clipping while channeling and combine data of channeled spells to combat text addons (MSBT, SCT, Parrot). It also allows to create buff, debuff, and cooldown (spell, rune, item) timers with a similar set of options castbars have.
To visit Gnosis' development site or to grab alpha&nolib files go to Gnosis @ CurseForge
For questions or comments please visit Gnosis' official forum thread
If you find any bugs or have suggestions create a ticket here
PDF documents containing a general introduction to timer bars as well as an overview of Gnosis timer configuration commands and options can be found within the Gnosis addon folder.
Gnosis also allows to create as many castbars as you like and does not force predefined bars onto the user. The "casts" of following "units" can be shown:

Swing Timer
Hello, love this addon by the way, just wondering though, where do I enable the swing timer (specifically for ranged, playing Huntard)? Thanks.

or nfs="Springs" itemcd: earthen gauntlets This makes the bar blue when the buff is active, and changes back to normal when the springs are on CD. I have NFS in my string because my buff bars are boxes and "earthen gauntlets" went outside of the box.

Re: Ticks Display
The recast indicator actually should take haste into account (though I might be wrong, I'll look into it when I find the time). I'f you need to recast a dot earlier than the recommened time, just go ahead and recast, you won't lose any ticks or casttime, at least if you do so as late as possible (thanks to blizzards handling of dot refreshing). |

Ticks Display
While I understand it seems to be possible to show the expected timing of ticks on a castbar, I was wondering if it would be possible to display them on multi-spell timers such as those for dots as an aid for when to clip.
The recast indicator is I think of a fixed duration and not taking into account haste and nor is it applicable for anything but the last tick which is not always when reapplying a dot is appropriate.

How do I...
First off - killer addon! I've got myself some great buffs and cooldowns. But, like most here, Im asking for help.
First off, I have an issue with the timers. I am a fury warrior and I have a 10% per swing to become enraged. I have a bar set up for this. It is considered a buff so when enrage hits, I see a wonderful bar with a timer. I want the same thing for my other cooldowns (not buffs). For example, I want to see a time representation on my bars as well as the graphical spark. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why it won't show. I have gone back and forth between the options of my enrage bar to that of say, Colossus Smash (20 sec cooldown). The TFS is by default, identical. I dont have that code altered in either situation. Could it be that it's simple because one is considered a 'buff' and the other a 'cooldown'? Please help me figure this one out. Also, I have a special request. I have a bar sized and layed out for my execute. What I would like it to do though, is for it to light up once my target is below 20% HP as well as show the Execute stacks (can go up to 5) and the duration of the buff remaining(similar to enrage). I have the talent which gives 5% melee haste stacking up to 5 times for 9 secs. Can gnosis do this? I am confused at what order I need to put things or where to start. This would probably require the resource function, TFS, commands:spellname<a1,a2,b1,b2>, and maybe a dependency. Can someone please help? |

Profile Loading
Hey, this addon is great :-)
Just one problem. If I want to load my profile via "/gnosis load configuration name" the addon sadly does nothing. Is that a bug or am I doing it wrong? :-) Regards Edit: Got it working by simply copying the .lua file from the WTF folder. Great addon :-)

Locked duration Multi-Timer bar filling
Would it be possible to implement some sort of Locked Duration for the Multi-Timer?
For example, all bars in Gnosis generally have the sliding countdown of the spell from the spell's max duration but I am interested in having - for example: An Insect Swarm multi-timer bar and a Moonfire/Sunfire multi-timer bar that would both show the usual spell information, but the sliding countdown bar that empties (or fills up) would be set to start filling (emptying) up at a set time of 5 seconds in order to align the bar sliding. I hope that made sense |

Arena/BG-Bar
Is it possible to replace the new Arena / Battleground start timer with a Gnosis castbar like done with the Blizz. Mirror Bar?
