lcLoot  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.3.0 alpha 13
by: RustamIrzaev [More]

Please NOTE! Addon for 3.3 patch is available, but it still in aplha. Use at own risk...

Description
lcLoot is a small replacement for the default loot frame (including a grouploot and a masterloot support). It has a "pleasant view".
A distinctive feature of other similar loot-addons is a portrait of looting mob.

Moving the window
You can move the frame by holding down <Alt> and clicking on the title (works only for the main loot window not for a grouloot).

Settings (via ingame config)
type '/lcloot' to show config window
- you can show/hide the portrait window
- you can turn on/off playing sounds while looting
- new you can scale the loot frame
- you can scale the target model
- new grouploot module
- new you can setup position of grouploot window
- new you can scale grouploot frame
- new added simple announce function (to say/party/guild/raid channels)

NOTE!
Many people ask me howto setup addon after 1.2.2 version (where ingame config was delete). From this time you have easy way to config - ingame setup.
You must to do some things:
1) totally uninstall previous version of the addon
2) install this new version
3) ENABLE (for first time) lcLoot and lcLoot_Config
4) ingame: type '/lcloot' and do setting that you need
5) in setup frame click on 'Disable lcLoot_Config'
6) Done

From this point you need only 'lcLoot' module for working.

Please leave a comment here to report a bug. Thanks
Note! Atm i'm working at a new version of lcLoot addon (more powerfully, more simply and more likely).

A little suggest,

Can add a function to auto adjust loot window's width by loot item name?

Default loot windows's width sometime look like to long.

Thanks.

Some mobs model is off-center in the portrait frame e.g. the shadow elements near Horde flight master in Wintergrasp.

Using the latest 1.2.4, but the loot isnt getting linked to raid nor guild (only tried with greens/blues).. Neither as a master looter, or just as group loot (tested on non grouped, grouped and raid grouped).

Any idea?

Just test it now... Yeas, announces to group and to raid channels are broken But announce to 'say' channel works without any error...

Need to fix it.

there wasnt an lcLoot_Config in the latest download zip. Should we just leave the one from the previous version or remove it all together?

In good, you must to delete all two folder called 'lcLoot' and 'lcLoot_Config' and just install a new version of addon (if your version was lower than 1.2.2). There are some changes in files layout.

Hmmm... I'm not seeing a config screen in the Interface>Addons window in game. And nothing happens when I type "/icloot"... how do I get to the config screen?

...or is it all done via the config.lua

Thanks!

I am having the same problem it was working when I had a 1.2.2 version or earlier I think and I downloaded the new version and the addon is working but the config isn't working its not in the addons config screen or the /lcloot won't work either.

^^ The config screen under interface/addons .

anyway you can name what each part of the lua is and what it does? just so it easier to edit. also addon is looking good but would be nice to have a interface to edit the look and feel of the addon but the lua works for now.

After 1.2.2 version ingame config was delete. At this moment you must to do all "setups" via config.lua file (it's nothing to hard there)
